Radisson RED Madrid

The Radisson RED Madrid has an excellent location, within easy reach of Atocha (fast train) station and the major museums, with public transport just around the corner. The hotel itself has a striking design, with a bold red, art-inspired theme that carries through the rooms, lobby, and bar. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, and staff (esp. Wojtek) were consistently friendly and helpful.

Breakfast felt quite expensive compared to nearby options, especially given the number of cafés and bars just outside the hotel offering more affordable (local) alternatives, we choose the latter at the start of our walks into the centre proper.

La ubicación era buena, a 10/15 minutos andando de la Puerta del Sol y 10 minutos del Museo del Prado. La habitación confortable. Y el hotel contaba con diversos servicios, entre ellos, máquinas de agua purificada en los pasillos, lo cual es un acierto.

Los únicos dos inconvenientes fueron que la empleada de recepción que nos atendió no sabía español, y que la habitación era triple pero sólo nos pusieron vasos, botellas y ‘amenities’ para dos personas.

We booked two rooms for 3 nights and the air condition in one of the rooms wasn’t working well and not fixed after we notified the concierge. Another room, the water was orange/reddish color until after turning it on for 10 mins as if the room was not put into use lately.

A Localização é muito boa! Tem café com cafeteira de cortesia! Check-in e Check-out rápidos e tranquilos! O banheiro tem uma ducha muito boa, com pressão e temperatura excelentes! A água disponível no corredor é excelente!

Apesar do isolamento, faz bastante barulho durante a noite. Considerando que eu estava em quarto lateral. O café da manhã poderia ter mais frutas. O horário dr café da manhã no domingo não ajuda quem tem que pegar um voo mais cedo. O café começa às 8, o qie considero muito tarde para um hotel e quando descemos, a funcionária fechou a cortina do restaurante na nossa casa. Saímos sem tomar café, que por sinal, é pago!
