Maldron Hotel Portlaoise

Service and house standards were exceptional, it was a quiet environment, offered free parking and the attached restaurant offered a great breakfast offer. Did not have lunch or evening meal but would be sure it would be of the same standard. Attached bar and restaurant within house so no external exit required. You would either need family or friends near by, own transport or hire a taxi as although not too far from town, mostly country lanes to get from A to B. Based off a main bye road

I stayed the night before and rebooked for last night and i have to say my experience was even better. 10 out of 10 all round. The restaurant staff of amelie and auguste to the management of daragh and soushil, could not have done enough for me. So glad to have got a second opportunity to stay here and have experienced this level of hospitality. Justyna on the desk was amazing also!

I stayed at the Maldron Portlaoise and although it got off to a rocky start i received some amazing hospitality from Daragh and justyna as well as Auguste. They looked after me in a big way and i can’t thank them enough . They looked after me constantly and made sure everything was up to an amazing standard

Everything was excellent from start to finish reception 👏 Jamie at bar 10/10 Darragh 10/10 both excellent and got down to child's level with my grandsons xx loved it ❤️ both so friendly ♥️ also Daniel very helpful x and Roisin x and Caoimhe in the dining area x lovely girls and so so helpful x we will visit again soon as ❤️

Easy access to and from motorway.Friendly helpful staff.Good food.Peaceful and quiet considering its beside a motorway.

Stayed in the maldron hotel recently and it was amazing. Couldn’t be happier with my service. Drinks were flowing and amazing. Had an amazing chat with Dinny the regular. Jasmine Anna and Jamie were brilliant, will be returning for sure!!!

This is a nice hotel and is conveniently located near the M7. Staff were helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast was well stocked and had a nice selection of food to suit all tastes. The evening meal was enjoyable although the selection was limited. I can recommend this location and will return!

Jasmine and soushil were amazing in the restaurant, the beer was good. Dinner was fast and tasten. We wereld very happy eith everything. Will be back for sure..... bedrooms wereld spacious...... lots of food optioneel next door in the food court

Stayed one night on a work trip. Great reception staff, spacious and clean room, lovely burger and pint of guiness. Unfortunately, was left sitting there by the restaurant staff while they had a lovely chat amongst themselves. All good besides. Will definitely come back.
