Hotel Onda Verde

My wife and I recently stayed at Hotel Onda Verde for four nights during our trip across Europe, and our experience was incredible. The breathtaking view from our room was well worth the value, and the entire facility was absolutely spotless. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping teams. I want to give a special shout-out to Davide at the pool, who provided the best service I have ever received at a hotel or resort. His exceptional service is a reason to visit on its own!

Hotel Onda Verde is right on the water with balconies in each room and beautiful views of the sea and coast! The hotel grounds were well kept and very clean. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating! The included breakfast had a nice variety of choices including made to order eggs and delicious coffee. The location was nice and quiet with restaurants within walking distance. There's the beautiful beach right across the was and access to all water taxis and tours. Highly recommend this hotel and would like to return. It was a beautiful stay!

The most incredible place. Genuinely wouldn’t pick anywhere else!

I cannot say enough about the quality of my stay at the Hotel Onda Verde. Our beautiful and comfortable room, combined with the incredible sea view from our terrace were quite calming and served as a welcome retreat after busy days spent exploring the Amalfi Coast and its countless charms. The daily breakfast was excellent with many interesting and fresh selections. Dinner at Franchino was superb and beautifully presented. However, it is the exceptional hotel staff that truly separates the Onda Verde from other comparable hotel properties where my girlfriend and I have stayed through the years when on holiday, and which immeasurably enhanced the magical quality of our stay. Prior to our stay, my numerous communications with the staff for planning purposes (e.g., places of interest, tours, transportation advice and spot on restaurant recommendations (which the foodie in me greatly appreciated) were highly useful. Upon our arrival and throughout our stay, Giuseppe, Francesco, Lina, Giada and Enzo (the parking attendant) at all times were extraordinarily kind, professional, helpful and informative, and treated me more like family than a first-time guest, which was greatly appreciated by me. They truly are exceptional. I look forward to returning to the Hotel Onde Verde and recommend it highly.

Views were very nice especially from the Francino restaurant. Beach nearby was very rocky and we decided not to swim there. Breakfast and setting good, however, get to breakfast very early as they ran out of many items and did not replace them even when asked. Nice hotel however, probably would not be staying here again. No shuttle service. Rooms and bathrooms very very small. Travel light as no room for large suitcases in room. However, not a place we will return to in the future if we decide to come back to the amalfi coast.

Our second time at the Onda Verde. The staff were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful room and facilities, housekeeping were extremely thorough, lovely pool area and David made sure we were taken care of very well. The superb breakfast each morning set us up for each day, we also dined in the Restaurant attached few times and found the staff including the lovely Marco and Paulo so friendly and the quality of the dishes on offer and the excellent wine list were extremely high. Would definitely recommend this wonderful hotel and the management should be proud of their staff. Hopefully we will return another time.

Not often do I write a review with 100% satisfaction without reservation. The location, facilities, friendliness of all staff were all beyond expectations. The room was comfortable and spacious with stunning views. The restaurant served world class food by skilled and experienced staff for whom nothing was a problem Our party of 3 agreed that of all the places we stayed in England, Scotland, Greece and Italy over the 5-week period away from Australia,16 locations all up, Onda Verde was by far the best. We have no hesitation to recommend this family-owned friendly facility without reservation to all discerning travelers. Enjoy your stay at Onda Verde.
