Hotel Onda Verde

We spent 4 nights here as part of our 10 year anniversary trip and the resort left us speechless at times from the view, accommodations, staff, service, and food/drink. The views of the water and cliffs set the stage for an unforgettable setting. All the staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast, snacks, and dinners on site were incredible. I 1000% recommend booking the Sofia Suite. It's absolutely worth it. A beautifully curated room down to every detail with a wake up view of the boats and water right from your bed. The balcony with cushioned loungers make you never want to leave your room. Make this hotel one of your stops along the Amalfi Coast.

Amazing location! Being next to a small marina made it easy to get to Positano and Amalfi. The morning breakfast was fabulous and we had dinner here 1 night…delicious! Staff so sweet and accommodating. Very comfortable beds and quiet room. Our favorite hotel of the trip!

מלון מקסים באמצע רצועת החוף של אמאלפי שממוקם בדיוק באמצע בין פוזיטנו לאמאלפי. המלון חצוב בחלקו בהר וזה מקסים ללכת במסדרונות שהן מנהרות חצובות בסלע בדרך לחדרים. את המלון מנהלת משפחה נחמדה וחייכנית שנותנת שירות נהדר. מקום מקסים למספר ימים של הרגעות בבריכה או אפילו רק במרפסת אל מול הים והנוף המדהים של רצועת החוף. זוהי גם נקודת זינוק נוחה ברכב או באוטובוס לאתרים באזור. יש גם את אחד הדברים הנדירים ביותר באזור שזאת חניה פרטית. אסור לפספס את ארוחת הערב במסעדת השף של המלון. ריזוטו כזה לא אכלתי בכל הטיול הארוך באיטליה.

This is our favorite place on the universe. The Amalfi Coast has way too many tourists and Onda Verde is paradise with views you will never see again! Seriously, forget about Positano and Sorrento...if you need to go, take a water taxi. Again, our favorite paradiso!!!!

More American tourists than our last stay, but, we are American LOL...difference is I speak fluent Italian and we prefer that experience without someone loudly ordering eggs and bacon when the Italian buffet is gorgeous!

The views, breakfast and cleanliness!

Our visit to Hotel Onda Verde was superb in every way. The location, the ambiance, the facilities excelled. The food in the restaurant was delicious, the service perfect. The staff at hotel were all extremely helpful & always pleasant. Lina, Hillary, Francesco, Petra, Paolo, Davide & Antonio all went out of their way for us. We will return to this amazing place.

We stayed at this supposedly 4-star hotel expecting a peaceful stay in Praiano, but instead had a terrifying experience. At 2 a.m., someone opened our bedroom door twice while we were asleep. I woke up shaking, locked it, barricaded it with furniture, and couldn’t sleep again the rest of the night. When I called reception, the night porter said he would “check” and never called back. The next morning, when I explained what happened at reception, the response was completely dismissive, didn’t acknowledge what happened and brushed it off, saying “it happens” or that “it was the wind.” No one seemed to care that I’d just spent the night scared for my safety. Later that morning I found other nearby doors also opened without a key, clearly showing a security issue. Despite informing management, the hotel insists that “the doors are fine” and has refused to take responsibility. Their only offer was a voucher “for the emotional distress caused” for their on-site restaurant, which was disappointing and far from an appropriate response to such a frightening situation. I’ve stayed in hotels of all kinds — from budget to luxury — and never experienced anything like this. For a hotel that advertises itself as luxury, the lack of safety, empathy, and professionalism was shocking. I would not recommend this property to anyone who values security and genuine customer care. No one should go through a night like that, or be made to feel dismissed afterwards.
