Only think not happy with was the dinning room which felt like a dungeon

Over price and overrated property. Even though it shows parking available it’s only valet which costs you 60$ per night. Also the hotel has a separate fee of 60$ per night which I wasn’t aware of till check out.

Great hotel. Great location. Excellent staff. The pool and spa are a big plus. Close to hiking trails and restaurants. Fun summer trip.

The location was great. There’s a bus stop right outside the hotel, with easy walking distance to shops and cafes. Also, the concierge service was wonderful. Both Mark and Steve (I’m sorry I don’t know their last names) went above and beyond assisting me.

My room faced the inner courtyard. On two occasions, I believe staff or other personnel working on the premises were talking and their voices carried. The conversations were brief but I could hear them. Also, I could hear construction noises. Only lasted a few minutes.

The room was nothing special with a dated bath. The room was warm so I turned the ac cooler, but it reset to 74 degrees in the middle of the night without me knowing, making for a hot and uncomfortable sleep. Location is good. I usually stay at another hotel in Vail, but wanted to try others. I won’t stay here again.

Bloom spa was excellent, food was great but low rating due to how the hotel management /front desk treats guests. We had a company “group event” about 60 people for 2 days/nights. Large catered dinner on the top of the mountain at The 10th. Priceless views. then another catered dinner at the Ariel Ballroom. It was an expensive event- like having a wedding! There was confusion as far as my spouse and I trying to get an extra room the night prior. We weren’t notified in time of an availability to drive up to the hotel, this occurred at 5 pm after that days check in time. The hotel booked the extra night at 5pm. (we did not get an official notification from either our company event planner or from the hotel front desk.) the desk had no mention of a a “no show fee”when we checked in the next day. Upon checkout, the hotel added $458 to our bill (which included a no show fee plus a a resort fee for the day we were NOT there (as per there policy)) After requesting a call back and refusing to pay/agree/ close out our bill until this was discussed further, the charge was posted to our personal credit card anyway a few days later and no follow up,by the hotel. Resulted in numerous calls -messages about the issue to the hotel which went unanswered for about 2 weeks. The hotel was not willing to be flexible AT ALL even based on the company spending thousands of dollars for the weekend! Most hotels can be flexible with guests if there are extenuating circumstances, and this was a personal issue, as it was our bill, not on the companies bill. I would not return - the negative experience ruined the positive experience.

The Sebastian Hotel did not disappoint. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient throughout our stay. The public areas and pool deck are beautifully maintained, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, with excellent beds, high-quality linen, and great sleep comfort. A nice touch is the in-room fridge, stocked with a complimentary soft drink that’s replenished daily. Tea and coffee-making facilities are provided, along with a lovely selection of Molton Brown amenities in the bathroom. The hotel is centrally located and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and key attractions. Although the room was comfortable, it was a bit dark due to the small windows and lacked a view. There are signs of minor wear and tear, but overall, the hotel remains clean, spacious, and very well maintained. We were part of a wedding party, so we didn’t get a chance to try the hotel’s food offerings. We’ll definitely return to Vail, and The Sebastian will be our first choice for accommodation again.

No coffee maker in room; no true dining room - bar dining very loud. All staff great!
