"Exceptional"

Small selection but lovely breakfast, the bed room was very comfy and I slept very well. The staff was lovely and helpful. If I am ever in the area I would stay again without thinking. Location is great.

Shower was a bit weak but I'm being fussy as every else was delightful.

I can not speak highly enough about the Marshall slocum Inn. The owner and employees that greated us upon arrival were polite and welcoming. We stayed in the cottage and were overwhelmed with how clean and beautiful it was. It was the perfect size, the bathroom was beautiful and the bedding was very cozy and comfortable. There was plenty of parking available on site, and the grounds were well maintained and beautiful. The Inn is also within walking distance of plenty of places for shopping and dinning . The owner will also help you set up reservations or help you with directions, and recommendations for food and shopping. Newport is very beautiful and offers a lot of attractions and history so when booking this is the place to stay!

"One of the coziest places weโ€™ve ever stayed"

One of the best properties weโ€™ve ever stayed. Felt like home. The rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean. The bed was super comfortable. The dining/breakfast area is cozy and inviting. We happened to be there during some rainy days and really enjoyed staying in drinking some tea and playing board games.

The breakfast could have a little bit more options like eggs or vegetables but was good anyway.

"Beautiful Inn in Newport"

Beautiful Inn, we stayed in the cottage in the garden which was delightful and private. Very friendly owner and staff, freshly made pastries were delicious for breakfast. Easy 10 minute walk into the main shopping areas and harbour front in Newport.
