Kuredu Island Resort

I stayed at Kureda island solo trip to relax. I can’t fault this island. It is beautiful, and the staff are so helpful. The staff go above and beyond to help you and make you feel welcome. It really is a relaxing atmosphere. Even the people who stamped my passport at the airport told me it was a good island I’m visiting. lol Thanku to all staff at Kureda island. And to Chalith IH who was always there if I needed him he made me feel very welcome on arrival 🙏

I would highly recommend this resort for anyone who is wanting either an exemptional diving experience or time to relax & enjoy constant warm weather & eat outstanding food throughout your stay

This was our first time in the Maldives and Kuredu more than lived up to expectations. We booked a premium beach villa and were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a private pool villa. It was stunning and came with allocated sunbeds on the beach and the option to dine anywhere on the island. We loved all of the restaurants but Pritti n the Bonthi made us particularly welcome. We enjoyed some great night’s entertainment in the main bar and were well looked after by Rav and Kalpesh to name just two. A special mention goes to our Island Host Sanjini Nothing was too much trouble. She kept in touch every day and kept us updated about everything. And everything with a lovely smile. Bear with me - this will be a longer review based on my 9 days experience and honest opinion: I have been to some remote places (e.g. Seychelles - 5x, small Islands in Thailand and Cuba) and I was hoping for a similarly quite/relaxing/recharching holiday on the Maldives (Kuredu Island more specifically). Unfortunately, Kuredu did not live up to my expectations and needs - it was simply too big/too touristy for my taste. What does "too touristy" mean? The main pool area felt more like Mallorca than the Maldives with approximately 100 beach chairs fittet way too close to each other which is why I went searching for way quieter places around the island, which, however, proved difficult, as those locations there was not enough shade. Also, after dinner, when I was looking for a quiet table at the bar - preferably to listen to the soothing sound of the waves and the beach in general - I was instead engulfed in up to 3 different kinds of musics, which is why I retreated quickly to either my bungalow or again to a remote(r) part of the island. The service personnel - no matter whether at the reception or the restaurants/bars - was exceptional and what made me give 3 instead of 2 stars. They were friendly, attentive, respectful and helpful all the way, even with the accident on my 2nd last day where I damaged the door to the outside bathroom (the glass broke). Be aware of hidden costs though. If you are tempted to use the reusable bottles that are placed in the rooms, you will have to buy them (I was not informed about this, neither in writing nor by the personnel). I only learned about this upon checkout. One minor glitch I want to mention here, for the truth's sake: The resort messed up my transfer arrangements for my departure as they did not book the ticket for the connecting flight to Mahe. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice island - but for me not "the typical Maldives island" I expected. At this point in time I am not sure whether I will return to the Maldives. I know, however, that if I do, it will NOT be to Kuredu.

We love Kuredu, also our kids (4-6) loved it! Have been 4 times there in the past and will come again. The 1km sandbank is unique to walk into the sunset.

We are very happy with our stay at Kuredu resort. Amazing Island, very good food and excellent service. Nice staff in the kids club that the kids love! Great gym! I recommend and Will hopfully revisit!

We returned to Kuredu Island resort for our 7th visit and it did not disappoint. We felt at home as soon as we stepped off the see plane. We stayed in an O jacuzzi beach villa in the area we requested. There was a lovely welcome bottle of bubbly and some sweet treats as well as a welcome message on our bed. We love O Resort; such a beautiful setting and able to eat meals sitting at the edge of the Indian Ocean which is amazing. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming Sanji our island host kept us up to date with upcoming events. Ashna our waitress was friendly and welcoming, remembering our drink choices, Kamal was the friendly barman, our chefs Bijaya and Nathan provided excellent food throughout our stay. The taxi drivers were lovely and somehow remembered our room number. Enjoyed some amazing trips with lovely guides and crew, with all day sailing on the Britt being a particular highlight. Also enjoyed night snorkelling and manta search, which was sadly unsuccessful…….ah well we’ll just have to come back and try again. Another amazing holiday made all the more special by the friendly, welcoming staff……thank you Kuredu

Everithing is wonderful,perfect Sajini ,you are gorgeous !!! Al services are very good ! Impecabile… dreams ! Spacious and very clean room ! The perfect locațion for a dream vacation!

Great island, staff, food, activities. Very enjoyable experience. Very attentive staff. Always friendly. Plenty to do. App easy to use.
