Good location but you get what you pay for. If you travel in high season and you don't spend much time indoors it is OK, otherwise... look for something else.

Don't know how they manage it for the price they charge. Staff were without exeption lovely.

Very good hospitality, changed room to better for sea view. It was my milestone birthday and management provided for this free. Staff were very friendly. Made lot of friends. Despite weather being reasonable, felt very welcome, comfortable and would return back.

great hotel complex good food plenty of amineties rooms have lots of space biggest ive stayed in Pleasant staff. Few swimming pools outside 1 inside pool with a gym and sauna the complex has plenty of lifts and is layed out in diffent buildings there are nice walks nearby built on a hill but no too bad all in all a good hotel

Stayed off season early Feb 2017, Cheap and cheerful experience with nice staff. The range of food was plentiful for breakfast and dinner, we enjoyed the food overall but some things were not that tasty. alcohoicl drinks were cheap at dinner. For the price (5 euros for breakfast, 15 euros for dinner) it was worth the money for all you can eat buffet. Location was good, between old and new town, right on the beach. Wifi was good at reception. Rooms were dated but large and with a kitchen and balcony.

we were pleasantly pleased with our stay at the monica isabel beach club. room was clean and comfortable and the staff had done there very best to accommodate me in an easy access room as requested. staff were always friendly and helpful and the food was very nice and plentiful. the dining room did get a bit over busy at the weekend when there were a lot of local guests and it became a bit of a bun fight with people loading plates with vast quantities of food without regard for other guests. a very nice time and excellent value for money.

Arrived very late and night after a delayed flight and hotel did provide a packed lunch. Were taken to Block C which was awful. Two of the rooms were in a basement down two flights of stairs, the other rooms were dirty and damp. After phoning yourselves the manager did find alternative rooms for us, three of which were fine and the other two were not perfect but a vast improvement on the previous rooms. The standard of cleaning in the rooms was very poor, towels and toilet rolls were not replaced. The food was reasonably good but even on new year's even no entertainment was provided and bar shut at usual time. Then they closed the swimming pool which meant there was nowhere to sit in the sunshine. We were a group of 8 and managed to have a good time but would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The block we were first put into was being used as staff quarters!! A real shame this hotel is not being managed and maintained properly as it is a lovely quiet location but easily accesible to Albufeira old town by a 20 minute stroll along the beach or by hotel shuttle bus which only takes 5 minutes. Taxis were very cheap to go to main bus station where you could visit other resorts in the Algarve.

great would stay there again. only problem if you want wifi in your room they charge 5 euros for 24 hours and 30 euros deposit for the modem .over a week thats a lot of money. cannot fault anything else

overall ok experience, could be a better selection of local fruits like grapes or mangos or kaka, could be better service, more helpful and more encouraging and could be better cleaning room service, our floor was not swiped anytime only on our request they did it. I would like to have free wi-fee in our room not only in a reception area as it was not convenient for me. The quality of food could be a bit better and indoor spa centre could be more advanced otherwise was a nice experience. View from the restaurant and our room on beach and sea was great. Price was good too.

Rooms are outdated. Needs urgent refurbishment. However spacious and in great location by the beach.
