We loved every aspect of our stay here! The easy check in with delightful Alex, our lovely room with soft pillows and super comfy bed, delicious breakfast, good coffee, and a perfect location in stunning Tavira made this hotel #1 in our month long trip. Highly recommended!

"Exceptional"

We had a wonderful one night stay in this beautiful hotel . An amazing building tastefully finished to an impeccable standard . The warmest of welcomes from Daniela at reception who could not do enough for us - we arrived early and stayed late we felt so welcome - was equaled by every other member of staff we encountered . Room was immaculate , the pool a delight , the bar and breakfast were excellent . We didn’t eat in the restaurant only because we wanted to explore and sample Tavira town but the menu looked lovely . I’m sure it would be excellent too. Tavira is a very town with lots of restaurants and interesting streets and sights to explore . We would definitely like to return and stay in this hotel again , whilst it’s not cheap it us definitely worth it !

Absolutely loved this hotel. It was a most enjoyable stay and the staff were very friendly and helped with all our needs. Breakfast was a wonderful spread of fruits, pastries and hot buffet. Dined one evening in the restaurant and the ambiance was incredible. Received a free bottle of wine with our dinner. Would definitely return to this hotel.

This is a lovely property with a small number of rooms that is located in a tranquil corner of Tavira with great access to everything. Super pool area to relax in at the end of the day. Our 4th stay

Really lovely, walking distance to centre of Tavira. Very historic and beautiful. Pool area a real sanctuary too.

"Historic grandeur "

It was my second stay. The historic building is just magnificent. Room and Breakfast superb. The only downside is the lunch and pool menu which only offered toasties/sandwiches. That might be because of the pandemic situation but not a problem as the location is right in the town and lots of restaurants To choose from.

"POUSADA Tavira"

The reception and breakfast could not have been more friendly nor more helpful. The hotel recognised the COVID regulations and implemented them. They also communicated the rules clearly and effectively. We will stay there again.

"A wonderful stay"

We stayed for a few days at this converted monastery, which still feels like one. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was always a pleasure to return after a day out.
