Hilton Garden Inn Nashville Smyrna

Pictures make it look good but felt very dirty. Breakfast was confusing and not the best. Would not spend my money here again. Bathroom was weird.

No complaints! Didn’t spend much time there. Chlorine levels of the hot tub seemed a bit high.

The staff went over and above to take care of us. And they always had a smile and were always caring.

The morning of the check-out, the staff lady claimed that we did not pay. My husband told me that I had an injury and had to go back in only for her to state that we did pay in advance, as we always do. Long walk to restrooms and elevators, no smiles on kitchen and regular staff faces. No free breakfast for the prices. hotel was basic like others we paid half the price for.

I never write reviews but this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room smelled like a wet dog it was unforgivable. In hindsight I should have asked for a different room but I didn’t because my two children just wanted to go to bed after a long travel day. The smell was exactly like a wet dog, it was very strange. I chalked it up to bad humidity since they had storms that day and the days before but it’s still no excuse. I saw another few reviews also mentioning the wet dog smell. Truly gross. There is also ZERO lighting in the room. They have no overhead lights, only a corner lamp and the lamps by the night stand. The rooms are also very old and run down. Definitely never staying at a Hilton Garden Inn ever again. I would pick any other hotel in this area or sleep in your car.

Jojo the bartender and the male front desk host was chef’s kiss. They made my experience comfortable and easy. Would definitely book to stay again.
