Summer Place Hotel

The hotel is very run down. The apartment we stayed in had one double bed and one futon. It claimed to have two double beds. It did not. There was a lot of wear and tear on the room itself. The futon was very uncomfortable. The room itself was clean. They provided clean sheets and towels and pillows. The apartment had a fridge, stove and microwave in the kitchenette. There is no parking except street parking.

Affordability

Absolutely NOTHING!!! Very scary, dirty, run down piece of shit!! We were mortified as soon as we walked in! Every inch was SO dirty! I actually bought blankets to sleep on (fully clothed!) & wasn't about to touch the shower! Microwave handle was broken...doubtful the smoke alarm worked and balconly railing was close to falling off..how does this place pass any possible health/safety inspections??? And don't get me started on the smell! Mgr greeted us with a homeless appearance & barefoot...we should have ran then!! BEWARE!!!

EVERYTHING!! See above comments! The smell...the dirt...the mold...the dirty/gross bedding...yellow sheets that weren't supposed to be yellow...broken microwave...the broken window blinds that anybody could see in...rusted lamps...loose/dangling wiring...sticky remote...moldy shower/curtain...bathroom door couldn't be opened the whole way and was not able to close either...atrocious parking situation. Picture the worst horror movie hotel/hostel you've ever seen and multiply that by 100!

it’s nice for a night or two. room wasn’t clean. white stuff all over the microwave and fridge. hair through out the bathroom. bed sheets stained.

Great location, right in the middle of downtown.

Everything was covered in dust. Sheets and towels were stained. Luckily I was only staying here for one night. The doors also did not have a deadbolt lock which I found to be strange. If you just need a bed and a shower it is adequate. I asked if there was wifi and I got a response of "yes" with no details... okay. Pretty sure the shower curtain and AC unit had mold in/on them. Absolutely no parking! On me, I arrived later than I had hoped but the hotel only had maybe 5 spaces available but were taken and all the street and meter parking was of course full, it took me over an hour to find a parking space after I checked in, lugging all my stuff in was not pleasant. Shower took forever to get hot but I was glad it was a hot shower.
