Arrowhead Inn

Have stayed at Arrowhead multiple times. It is a great historic inn and in a great location. There are a variety of rooms to choose from. It is quiet. The breakfast was superb. The prices are reasonable. This is the best place to stay in Durham.

We've been to Arrowhead Inn several times and always have great stays. The Inn is charming and immaculately maintained. We stayed in the Benson Room on the ground floor and it would be ideal for anyone who can't negotiate stairs. The room was very spacious, charmingly decorated, immaculately clean and has an easily used gas fireplace. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good sleep before heading off to nearby Duke Gardens. The breakfast room at the back of the inn overlooks the gardens and is a relaxing spot for a leisurely breakfast. The croissant French toast was very tasty and we're going to try to imitate their recipe at home. Both the innkeeper and our breakfast server were friendly and made us feel welcomed.

My wife and I have stayed at Arrowhead Inn several times. Our stays have always been enjoyable. Breakfasts have always been delicious. Beds are very comfortable. And the snacks in the room upon arrival are very welcomed after a day of driving. The staff is very accommodating, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable. We look forward to staying at Arrowhead Inn again.

Beautiful property, but very little services available on site, no luggage storage, no one to ask questions or help with baggage up the stairs, or troubleshooting issues. There is a number you can text, but only responds during business hours. Not a good location if you will be relying on uber or lyft. Steam shower is a major plus.

Lovely setting with attractive yard and garden. The Cottage, where I stayed, is charming and comfortable with a gas fireplace and jacuzzi tub, plus a shower. I had 2 delightful included breakfasts with excellent hot dishes and home-baked treats, plus a tasty fruit bowl, served on my porch. The main building is beautifully decorated with a parlor and large dining room. A special and welcoming B&B.

This is an amazing place. Stayed there this weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. The place is super peaceful, extremely clean from top to bottom. Staff is super friendly . Breakfast was delicious . I definitely recommend this place for a memorable get away.. I loved every bit of it and Alex the daughter of the owners has such an amazing personality. We r definitely coming back very soon .

Pros-comfy bed, nice fireplace and jacuzzi in room. Cons-location far from downtown and restaurants, very poor lighting in room (forget trying to read in there), couple of steps down into toilet room which were not an issue for me but should be mentioned in the room description

Lovely property and Gardens. I think Stephanie and Ron pretty much thought of everything on this restoration. Even the fresh fruit was ripe. Bring a small suitcase if your room is upstairs, very narrow curving stairs but lots of handrails. The Lipscomb room was delightful with fireplace. lovely breakfast patio.

This is our 3rd stay at this beautiful Inn- that speaks well of its quality, friendliness, clean and comfortable rooms and so much more. Breakfast was a treat , as always, and the grounds are a pleasant view while enjoying it( even if it’s raining!).

Looking for a true Romantic Carolina getaway? Look no further! ❤️ We stayed in the log cabin... just wow! We were on the verge of making an offer on the place. The timbers tells a story... and to sleep upstairs loft was Amazing! The proprietor greeted us upon arrival with a big friendly smile that would have even the most sullen person feel welcomed and happy. Thank you! Ace! Everything about Arrowhead Inn scream luxury, coziness and warmth. Thank you for a truly magical stay! We will be back.
