Arrowhead Inn

We chose Arrowhead Inn for a birthday weekend. We loved the history of this place and were promptly greeted by our hostess who told us we were staying in one of the original rooms in the house (bonus!). The room was clean and cozy complete with fireplace and little packages of snacks and a bottle of filtered water. We were able to easily refill the bottle from pre-filled bottles in the dining area. The breakfasts were amazing! Each morning there was a fresh fruit cup with a pastry and followed by a warm dish. They offered 4 different juices, coffee and tea to drink. The owner came around and visited with the guests. The property was decorated so quaint! We absolutely loved it! It's about a 20 minute drive to downtown Durham, totally worth the extra drive.

Arrowhead was delightful place for my brother and I to stay while visiting nearby family during Christmas week. We had 2 rooms on the 2nd floor. The Inn is very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I plan to be a repeat customer.

What a wonderful visit! We stayed in the Pyne Suite, which was bigger than it looks in the photo. It was wonderful to have a separate space to curl up by the fire and read books with a cup of tea on a rainy afternoon. The room was very quiet - didn’t hear any other guests - and the bed was so comfortable (loved the sheets!). Breakfast was great. Only 10 min drive to downtown Durham, and plenty of parking at the inn. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The hosts and staff were welcoming and thoughtful. We were upgraded to a suite after a cancellation which was lovely for our 5 day stay. Breakfasts were fabulous. The beds were very comfortable in beautifully decorated rooms. We will stay there again

Exquisitely decorated and maintained notable historic Inn. Beautifully appointed rooms with special touches. Staff is incredible, booking and constant care by owners is spot-on. I only wish I could have spent more time there! Definitely on my return list.

All the details in the care of the property and room. Great shower & tub & excellent water pressure, beautiful soft towels. The breakfast was absolutely delish.

Breakfast needed to be earlier. Very clean...great place.

The property is beautiful and the owners Ron and Stephanie are lovely. The room was comfortable and quiet with black out shades and breakfasts were delicious.

The only drawback is that it sits on a busy road which the owners cannot control.
