Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark

We had a wonderful time. Kris at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She definitely made our trip a memorable experience!! We don’t live far from here and will be back for another staycation.

Half of the water park wasn’t in use, which was frustrating. You pay for a stay to enjoy everything and half wasn’t working. They only had three water slides, the lazy river, the wave thing and the kiddie area. The other slides weren’t open. It made the other areas crowded. And when we got there, we immediately had to be out for an hour. I’d suggest if you want to make $, keep all rides open and functional and the park should be open until midnight. You’d sell more at the concession stands if you do. For how much you pay, I was disappointed.

The property is nice and well kept and in a convenient location.

The room was rather small for a double. The sink was outside the bathroom? With no standing mirror. Both beds were sunk in; in the middle. The prices for everything were outrageous for a mid experience. To top it off? The whole top of the water park was closed down. Staff had no explanation for why or when it would be running. From Friday- Sunday it was closed and nowhere in my booking, confirmation, or check in did they disclose anything about the top of the park being closed. Both of my small children were very disappointed. My oldest asking for this trip for his 7th birthday and I could’ve rented a nicer hotel room for what I spent with kids jammed into the kiddy pool and so many people in the lazy river there was nothing lazy about it people trampling and bumping into each other.

Kids enjoyed the water park and the arcade! Loved the kiddie room for arts and crafts and the story time in the lobby.
