Best Western Okemos/East Lansing Hotel & Suites

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was kept full and very good. The room was clean, comfortable and most importantly, quiet. Upon checking in they graciously gave me a room in the same hall as other family members.

They were terribly short staffed. The hall needed swept when I arrived and still needed it the next day. I requested a clean set of towels on Saturday morning and late Saturday night, was told housekeeping had not gotten to laundry, so there were none available. They did find some upon my insistence.

I liked the location and the facilities were nice. When we had an issue with the rooms air, they were willing to move us. But, the air started working.

The room was not clean when we came in, found a large lid. There was a group of kids running the hallways, screaming and cussing. I called and requested someone to take care of it the second night. I finally had to step out and tell them to stop. There was a cart and dirty towels in the hallway. Outlet in lamp did not work. The key cards quit on us 2x.

The room was amazing and clean

The pool was absolutely gross. Full of dead bugs and pollen and leaves which was strange for being an indoor pool. The fridge barely kept things cool never cold. The beds are hard as rocks. There was a group of softball girls there. Absolutely loud rude and disruptive. The night lady at desk, well went down once and she is the definition of ditzy blonde. I paid over $100 to get horrible sleep, have to pick crap out of pool so my son and I could breifly use it. Had to go to front desk for towels for pool and got no help with the noise and door slamming issues. Wouldn’t suggest to stay at and I will never go back.

An average stay. Not great, but not horrible. Could’ve been better if the management focuses more on cleanliness and the working order of room amenities. The staff was very friendly, especially the woman attending to breakfast. The best part of our stay was our breakfast experience.
