Superior Hotel

Good Location: - on the main road so easy to get to, - Five mintue walk away is a large Tesco, in the other direction is showcase cinema with plenty of restaurants. - Dudley zoo, Black conutry museum and a bowl centre were near-by. - Town Centre is a half an hour walk. - Bus stop next door to the hotel plus the train station was a half an hour walk. Nice Hotel Room: - Clean and comfortable bed and new carpet, - Plenty of storage - had a kettle, hairdryer, a microwave and Tv with freeview. Friendly and nice Staff.

Beware the Hotel is being used by the council as emergency accommodations for alot of families and people. Majority of the people we met/saw were placed there by the council. This meant it was extremely busy and noisy in the evenings. Facilities - NO HOT WATER during the entire time there (Monday 2nd Sep to Thursday 5th Sep), was told at check-in that it would be fixed but still nothing on last day. - Walls are thin so could hear alot of slamming doors, keys unlocking other doors, in the evenings heard children running up and down the corridors screaming, didn't quiet down until around 10/11pm. On the last night someone moved into the room next door and could hear the person going to the toilet late that night. - The door didn't alway shut properly so had to double check and give it shove or pull to make sure it was securely shut. - The chairs in the reception and in the room were mouldy/filthy.

Location wise was fine. Everything within distance. Room was ok size, abit loud due to people staying there but that’s overall expected within a hotel. Staff was helpful & polite
