Absolutely loved all the services on arrival they took our bags and we were greeted with cold mint scented flannels to help with the heat aswell as delicious warm cookies, They upgraded us and everything was easily accommodated for with a press of the button zero from your room phone and poolside telephone, bar tender was lovely. I would like to thank Gift which you truly are a Gift, she accommodated our bookings for tours and my partners happy birthday song was also put in the booking and sung by staff at the Elephant sanctuary , also thank you to the staff at Double Tree Hilton for setting the room up and greeting us with cake as soon as we arrived back. Thank you and Ngā mihi Maioha from New Zealand.

The location was great, close to the beach, shops, restaurants, not far from Bangla Rd, but far enough that you don’t hear any noise from it. Breakfast had a big variety to choose from. The pool was very nice and refreshing and always clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I also loved the mirrors in the bathroom, great for putting on makeup.

These a lot of renovations going on at the moment and can be a bit noisy. The mosquitos, we were on the ground level and couldn’t sit outside at night as they are really bad and they get into the room, I got a lot of bites.

Personel çok sıcak kanlı ve güler yüzlüydü. Kahvaltı gayet yeterliydi. Oda yeterince büyük ve konforluydu.

Odamı ekstra bir ücret ödeyerek balkonlu olarak satın aldım fakat balkonumun hemen karşısındaki inşaat çalışmaları yüzünden ne balkonu kullanabildim ne sesten dolayı rahat istirahat edebildim ne de otelin havuzunu kullanabildim. En azından bu durumun tarafıma bildirilmesini isterdim.

We loved the location, having travelled to Patong many many times we love a hotel on the main beach road. The staff were exceptional and were very glowing of working for Hilton you obviously look after them or I hope you do!

The property is lovely except a long walk to get to rooms, we upgraded to a pool access room which although near the serenity pool was in the corner near the outdoor shower, we asked to be moved to a more accessible pool room as I was struggling with a bad knee but were told by reception that the hotel was full. Around the pool also is four layers of different flooring, tiles on balconies, rubber matting, outdoor tiles and then loose laid matting that kept curling and was a trip hazard. Accordingly to other staff the hotel was at 40% capacity. So not sure why we could not move. We had trouble with electricity which was eventually fixed and also kids running up and down the hallway pressing the doorbells it was very annoying. We also found many people smoked on their balconies a blatant disregard for the signage and the staff trying hard to stop them. We also found the hotel lacks atmosphere. The grand entrance is amazing but we didn’t see one person sit at the bar in the middle, it was very uninviting, the Port (part of the hotel) used to be such a great place to eat and hang out for a drink and listen to a band, years ago they had a revolving stage and would alternate between reggae and pop music classics. This area is now cold, lacks style and is not inviting, the poor staff trying to entice customers into an area crowded with tables, chairs, no room to move, hot in the sun and no shelter in the rain is a real issue, a positive is the food and staff. There is a room adjoining the outdoor dining area that looked like a smoking area but it was an air conditioned part of the restaurant and the windows were fogged all the time, I didn’t see one guest use this area. The Port outdoor area needs a real overhaul pull down all the pokie bits and pieces make one outside area, lay some artificial grass, put some plants in pots, have a decent band playing nighty and it would again be my favourite place and a lot of other people as well.
