Barceló Cabo de Gata

L'emplacement de cet hôtel et la qualité des chambres rénovées m'a séduit. Il reste bien entendu quelques petits défauts que mon oeil d'architecte ne peut pas s'empêcher de voir, mais dans l'ensemble les finitions des chambres et de l'hôtel en général sont très bonnes. J'ai également vraiment apprécié le petit-déjeuner copieux et composé de produits de très grandes qualités.

Dans l'ensemble rien ne m'a vraiment dérangé car l'hôtel a rempli mes attentes.

Never stayed in Costa de almeria before and this hotel is so nice. Check in - reception staff all lovely and polite, friendly and explained everything we needed to know. Our room was 319 top floor with sea view, the room is huge, comfy beds and air con worked great, balcony (also huge) had 2 sunbeds on and we heard no noise throughout our stay. We was half board, we normally go all inclusive but this wasn’t an option - think it’s only high season but there was water machine to fill up bottles and a convenient super market 5 mins walk away. Restaurant was lovely and the staff work very hard, I loved the breakfasts everything you can possibly think of was available. Evening meals - the only think we wasn’t keep on was 8pm was the earliest the restaurant opened which think is quite late especially when lots of little ones having to wait and may be being over tired. But the food was good - starters and pudding choice were amazing, main course was a little limited for me, not many choices of vegetables at all but what we had was nice. Pool areas - 2 out the 3 pools were open and lovely and refreshing and nice and cold with the temps we had over 25 degrees so was very nice. Sunbeds although not the comfiest there was plenty of them and some shade was available. Pool bar opened at 11am but was great and filled up cups if needed. We managed to get a late check out room no problems until 6pm which was great for our late flight home and again reception were very helpful with this. I would come here again

We had a wonderful trip here! The place was beautiful the staff was incredible nice, helpful, and speaking very good English. The food was delicious -someting for every one!!The hotel it self is lovley,however it is quite-not many shops or bars!!

Staff are great however, the main restaurant doesn't open till 8pm on an evening which is way too late, not much of a food variety either, the onside restaurant closes at 4pm and the drinks at any of the bars are very expensive. Room was nice though.

Great hotel the only thing that lets it down is the food cold and limited choice for the evening meal and costs £30 per person. Go to other restaurants in the area
