La situation de l hotel et le petit déjeuner varié....Dommage que je n'ai pas pu me baigner mon séjour aurait été parfait...

Madame, Monsieur, Je vous contacte suite à une réservation effectuée via votre plateforme pour un séjour dans l’établissement [Barcelo Cabo de Gatal], du [03 au 06 mai] sous le numéro de réservation [6764984230]. La présence d’une piscine, clairement mise en avant dans les photos et la présentation de l’établissement sur votre site, a constitué un critère déterminant dans mon choix. Or, à mon arrivée, j’ai constaté que la piscine principale (adultes) était fermée et inaccessible. La seule information mentionnant une fermeture concernait une “piscine 2”, indiquée de manière peu visible et surtout ambiguë, laissant penser qu’il s’agissait de la pataugeoire pour enfants, et non de la piscine principale illustrée dans les photos. Cette situation constitue, selon moi, une information insuffisante et trompeuse, ne permettant pas au client de comprendre clairement l’indisponibilité d’un équipement essentiel du séjour. En conséquence, je considère que la prestation fournie n’est pas conforme à celle présentée lors de la réservation. Je vous remercie donc d’intervenir auprès de l’établissement afin d’obtenir un remboursement partiel du séjour à titre de dédommagement. Dans l’attente de votre retour, je vous remercie par avance pour votre aide dans la résolution de ce litige. Au regard de ces éléments, je sollicite un remboursement partiel à hauteur de 100 €. Our first time here. Chosen for its proximity to our son. From the reception and across each member of staff they were all wonderful. We went half board, breakfast and evening meal. Always something to appeal to every palette. The room was clean and well appointed, don't need to take shower gel and shampoo if you don't want to. We had a sea view - extra. The pool areas are clean with plenty of Sun beds, tho we stayed in early May. There was not much in the way of entertainment but again could be time of year. We enquired at reception to the whereabouts of local bars, shop and restaurants. The first time we tried to find the such, we were told 15 minutes walk..... Well unless I've morphed into Usain Bolt, it was 2.4km and took an hour. Not one for the disabled . - like me. The next time we crossed the road and took the road to Almeria. A better decision, 15 minutes walk to shop, 30 minutes to bar - rarely open and restaurant. It's on an excellent bus route, Nos 30 and 31 take roughly 30minutes for a very cheap €1.05 cents pp one way. Taxis €30 - 40 one way. Almeria city has some beautiful areas, stay away from the barrios, especially at night. The castle is difficult to get to as it's up cobbled steps and a lot of them. Tho beautiful to see the whole city from. You can get a " historic " bus - no. 1 that takes you right to the steps. And only €1.05 pp. There are some beautiful tapas food restaurant s especially near the cathedral. Some places are free tapas with an alcoholic drink. There's an indoor market, very old building, well worth a look. All in all, if you are looking for a quiet hotel with not a lot happening, this is perfect. If you want busy local music themed bars and restaurants, i'd say go to Malaga. For us it was great, but we were going out most days with our son. We will stay again for exactly that reason

Breakfast is great value but evening meal is expensive and although bufete style it does meet a basic standard . Cold food not much to choose from however the salad was plentiful

The room was light and spacious. The view was good. The reception staff were helpful and welcoming. The buffet was good. The room cleaning staff were wonderful.

The spa was small and very noisy children jumping into the pool at the spa. Not relaxing at all. A male breakfast egg preperation cook/chef was unpleasant in manor.

Schöne grosse Zimmer - gutes Frühstück das Hotel liegt jedoch sehr abgelegen ein Mietauto ist von Vorteil 👌🏻 ansonsten ist das Hotel sehr zu empfehlen

This is the fourth year on the bounce we have stayed at Barcelona Cabo de Gata. It is a lovely hotel, it's clean, the staff are friendly and the outside areas are lovely. However, although it seems disingenuous to say, there are certain criticism's that need to be addressed because there has been a steady erosion in the previous high standards at this hotel. When we first stayed at BCdG four years ago the pool areas were absolutely immaculate, literally not a tile out of place but now there are several places where tiles are raised having not been replaced properly and substandard repairs to the footpaths. Inside the hotel, again it's still good but the overall 'feel' is a little tired, especially the bathrooms. The food is still good but unfortunately no where near the excellent food that was on offer 3 and 4 years ago, here, there has been a definite reduction in overall quality and the choice of food which is really disappointing! I am guessing because of cost constraints is the reason food quality has dropped so much. You could say it's harsh to criticise when at first glance the hotel is still good, but when you see their standards are on the slide as we have, it's a real shame! BTW, the company that carried out the welding to the posts for the shaded pool areas, did a poor job.
