Hix Island House

The property is gorgeous, rooms are clean and well stocked. Staff was responsive when we contacted them. Would definitely stay again!

If you want something out of the box, Hix house is the place to stay. No complaints.

Lovely place. The salt water pool was a highlight. The fans helped with the heat as did a nightime swim. We enjoyed watching the birds in the gardens and the wild horses that came by several times a day. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for our family of 4.

Hix is always a tranquil place to stay. As the property ages, they need to keep up with repairs in the rooms. In Rodonda 2, where I stayed, there were issues with screws coming out of the walls that held doors closed, and none of the knives in the cooking utensils were very usable - they should put higher quality cooking utensils in the rooms. Overall, this place is quiet, serene, and the service is top quality. But little things, like putting hand soap in the bathrooms and cleaning the rooms each day would elevate it back up to the lux stay it used to feel like.

My stay at the Hix house was everything I hoped for! Impeccable Cleanliness and Maintenance, Rooms were spotless, and the facilities were well-maintained. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable.
