The room was not like the picture. The picture on Expedia must be outdated. I'm reality, Half the room was a bathtub and shower. In the picture the bed had its own area separate from the seating area. And there was no oversized bathtub room. In the Expedia picture the couches face the ocean but in reality they did not.

Excellent waterfront rooms. I was able to upgrade for 4 nights of my stay. But unrenovated rooms are substandard and not recommended. Excellent location. Walking distance to center of town and many good restaurants.

Some of the best customer service we have ever had at a hotel, from every single person who works there. Beautiful room that was practically on top of the water, beautiful beach, and great restaurants.

Be sure to book the oceanfront building. The other buildings are shabby. The room was great though.

While this property is convenient, many of the rooms are not updated. We had 3 rooms for this stay. The standard rooms are very tight and the bathrooms are very small, with only pedestal sinks. You are basically paying for the location when you book this hotel. Staff is amazing, super friendly and helpful. Parking is expensive. You can park a few blocks up the street and in the front of the property along PCH at night if you dare. We lost a side mirror on a rental car the first night parking on PCH. Great location for walking, you don't really need a car once you're there.
