"Yes! This Spa is 10 out of 10! Intimate and respected hotel! It’s worth it - we were happy!"

8.0

We wanted a nice get away location from the U.K’s cold and damp March weather and chose Djerba in Tunisia having been to Morocco many times we fancied something different. Tunisia is similar but quieter than Morocco, which was just the vibe we were looking for! This hotel is a wise choice in Djerba / the spa in the hotel is 10 out of 10 - it’s really, really chic, clean, well presented and has multiple massage and treatment rooms, pools, baths, saunas and gyms for you to use over your stay! This actually really surprised us and we were sooooooo glad we chose this hotel for this! As for the hotel, it’s designed well, albeit can be a wind trap by the pool if there are strong winds, albeit when the heat is beating down on you from the N African sun, can be a welcome poolside chill down needed! The rooms were OK, it’s stated as a 5* but some maintenance is needed in the rooms to compare with European 5* hotels, but understandably it’s Tunisia and the €£$ needed in investment may not be there, I’m sure Radisson’s owners are aware if this / they are not bad rooms, very clean, just some painting and the odd fixtures and fitting repairs required - we were happy with the room overall, all have balconies, can smoke in and out of the hotel if you wish too. We had a few issues with hot water not being available 1 day, however the hotel could not do enough to keep us happy!! We were so pleased with the Radisson service from Laurent the hotel manager and from Fathaid in reception (she really did care about our stay) as they gave us free spa vouchers and cocktails to make up for the few small things that happened. For the price, this is an amazing spot and great value, the drinks and food were not expensive and the service was 5* Thank you Radisson Djerba, we enjoyed our stay! To travellers thinking about this place - yes, book it! It’s nice and intimate and you will be relaxed, massaged and treated well.

"Radisson Blu won us with their VIC Club"

10.0

Had absolutely amazing time here. My girls loved it. This property is enormous. The staff is helpful and friendly. Its a great value to the money to paid. The best part is the VIC club for kids. They keep the kids entertained in so many ways from board games to cinema and video games and what not. It was lovely to leave our daughter there while we can enjoy something else. The instructor in VIC club is Assia and she is such a nice lady. We will definitely plan again to visit Djerba and Radisson Blu will be our first choice to stay because of Assia. The only thing we found a bit off was the check in process was way too slow. We waited at reception desk to check in for 20 mind until someone showed up. We were tired from long flight and kids were sleepy and then we had to wait for 20mins to check in. The breakfast buffet had huge variety. From Tunis food to continental, everything was there. We really enjoyed the breakfast. We ones went to lunch buffet in Mediterranean restaurant. It was 70 dinar per person but was just okay. The variety of salads were amazing. Location is good. Soul Houmt is about 10-12 mins drive and the food is very cheap outside the resort. In 50 dinar a family of 4 can have a good meal outside.

"Stunning but not very practical"

6.0

A stunning hotel that is visually impressive, and comes with it's very own resident cat! Right by the beach so it is perfect location for sea lovers. Also breakfast is tasty and plenty of variety. Some major flaws... Our sink was completely blocked and maintenance were unable to fix it, the safe was not working which was a massive inconvenience. Again this was not resolved after notifying the team. Telephone did not work at all, line was disconnected so when we tried to call reception it did not go through. Toilet seat was wonky so terrible to use. Overall, beautiful hotel which was very expensive, but unfortunately it was not worth the money from a practical point of view.

"Good but somehow not great"

8.0

I spent three nights at this beautiful resort on Djerba Island. The resort is situated ideally on the island to be within touching distance of the airport and all the major attractions and food joints. It is a fantastic resort which even in the winter months had a feeling of festivity around it. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, warm and have a good view of the central pool areas or the sea and beach. It was a comfortable stay and we enjoyed the restaurants, spa and gym among the other facilities. All had top marks and the staff were friendly and helpful. It lacked nothing that one would not want from a five star hotel but somehow lacked a wow factor which I've come to expect as a result it was good but not great. You won't go wrong staying here for a good break whether it's alone, as a couple or with family
