"Nice but small"

8.0

Nice cottages, but small, which got a bit Closter phobic with a family of four. Good location, not far from Kennebunk/Kennebunkport and the beach. But, with small children the walk to Parson's beach is a bit far and Kennebunk has nicer beaches. Refundable beach parking pass available at office for Kennebunk beaches, which was a pleasant surprise. Nice pool and hot tub, but the for sale signs kinda take away from it and some of the grounds aren't really maintained.

"small bathroom"

4.0

The bathroom was tiny, thank God we aren't overweight otherwise we wouldn't have fit in the shower stall. The location was why we stayed there - close to beach and to town, and inexpensive.

"It's a place to sleep."

4.0

Most of the cottages are very old. There are some newer ones but they are double the price. There was mold around showers. The a/c filter were very dirty not recommend if you have alergies. Pool was nice but old. Play ground for kids was very well used needs to updated. Seem like some things are just there to hit a check in a box. Staff took our trash out and teft our cottage door open and unlocked. When I talk to others said it happened to them too. So be ware if you are brave enough to stay don't leave any valuables in rooms.

"Okay - great location and cozy feel to the place"

6.0

I booked a "standard room" with 2 double beds but we ended up with a one bed and pullout sofa couch - that wasn't even a double size but a twin. I would have complained, however every room in the place was booked. The pool was a nice feature and the location of the hotel is great. It was good for a long weekend.

"Pleasantly surprised"

6.0

We rented a two bedroom with kitchenette. It was just what wee needed. Two full bathrooms. My husband and I have three children. Small playground also kept them busy while we got ready to head out.

"A Good Pre-Season Value"

8.0

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage style motel. It was private feeling, relaxing, and had everything we needed for our week long stay. While the fit and finish of the cottage was far from perfect, it had a homelike atmosphere and was a good place for bringing my family along. The location was within walking distance to a pleasant beach, and within reasonable driving distance to the southern beaches. The place is dog friendly, but the motel management charges an additional fee when you arrive. In addition, they ask that you walk your dog off property and clean up after them. Be forewarned that if Fido likes to sleep with you, they expect you to bring your own bed coverings. Not wholly unreasonable, but also not quite what the usual pet owning traveler is expecting.

"Exceptional"

Nice little cottage with personal shower. Newer small fridge/freezer was a very welcome addition, plus a stove. Dishes were there to be used as well.

"perfect for our needs"

10.0

We were worried about this motel after reading some of the reviews, but did not wish to spend $600.00 for a two night stay in Kennebuckport. So glad we didn't and decided to stay here. It was clean, warm, and had anything we needed. The staff was pleasant and helpful in giving directions and suggestions on places we needed to go. Would stay again without a second thought.
