L'hôtel est typique de la Nouvelle Angleterre dans son architecture. Papiers peints à fleurs, rideaux en dentelles, planchers cirés, mobilier ancien, etc... On est très loin du design aseptisé des hôtels modernes ! On y vient pour le charme, le dépaysement, l'intimité. Situé à quelques pas de la plage, on peut sentir le vent de l'océan et l'air de la mer. J'y suis allé fin janvier, sous la neige, un peu comme une retraite spirituelle, pour méditer durant de longues marches sur les plages enneigées. Et c'était l'endroit parfait pour résider quelques jours. Quartier résidentiel. Nombreux restaurants alentours à environ 10 minutes en voiture. Magnifiques ballades à faire en toutes saisons. Sanitaires en parfait état. La douche fonctionne bien.

Only superficially clean cobwebs by the bedhead ,chip on the floor,rim of toilet disgustingly grimy Mouldy ceiling,tired decor,plastic cover on the mattress, bottom sheet not clean.Dodgy internet.Couldnt get TV to work properly.

I liked the location (once I found it). I was in a heavy snowstorm (blizzard like conditions), had a flat tire and it was at night. The owner's managed the site and she was nice, friendly and helpful.

Parking wasn't real easy but I managed to get a space in front of the house. I had to dig myself out of the snow the next day, but t h ank goodness I had a good car.

Very disappointing stay. The room was extremely cold, and the heater was not working properly. I had to sleep fully dressed because the temperature was unbearable. Early in the morning, I had no choice but to leave and move to another hotel, since I could not stay in that room any longer. This is a region where it snows, so the hotel should take guests’ comfort seriously and provide heating systems that actually work. Unfortunately, my experience was very uncomfortable and stressful.

Location was very good.
