Holiday Inn Northampton by IHG

Breakfast was good, staffs were helpful, plenty of car park spaces

The hotel was a bit outdated and it is in need of renovation

The location was great, just off the motorway, and very close to a lovely riverside walk, which we enjoyed in the morning. The staff were all friendly and very helpful.

I booked a Queen room, thinking it had a Queen size bed. But in fact, it was just a room with one double bed. It was a comfortable bed anyway so it was okay in the end, but I think the description on the website can be clearer.

Modern interior, friendly staff, comfortable bed, easy parking, ease of access, good value for money!

Better than expected tbh.. Lovely views, clean and well equipped spacious room, friendly staff, nice breakfast and clean hotel overall. Quiet and comfortable sleep

Breakfast room needs more suitable dining tables and more space to move around the food stations as it felt like we were always in the way.

Stayed here with my son in a suite booked on points. Nice welcome at reception but that changed when another gentleman and my son and I advised the receptionist that the lift would not open. Real attitude blaming us for the issue. Exited the lift, once it was working!, and was stunned to see their suite room was opposite the lift and so very noisy inside the room. The bedroom was good, bed very comfy, but sofa bed not made up and the air con hardly functioning. An extra radiator had been put into the room, so the issue was obviously known. Room looked tired, as did the bathroom. The whole hotel needs a freshen up. Bed very comfy. Breakfast not great. A few items had run out and were not being replenished, despite there being an hour left on service. Overall, it was average. Disappointing for a Holiday Inn. I stay in IHG properties every time I’m away, hence being able to book on points, and this was one of the worst I’ve stayed in in a long while.
