Gas leaking on property had to move down the road to a horrible motel room, small, upstairs had to carry all our luggage, no place to put clothes but on the floor, the bed was hard as a rock with a big Slope in the middle that gave me a back ache That place was very unnerving at night, did not feel safe at all

I had a fantastic stay! The customer service was top-notch. The reservation manager, Tanya, was so kind and went above and beyond to accommodate my guest and I. The cottage was cozy and comfortable, making it easy to relax after hours of traveling up the mountain. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Big Bear!"

we took a hotel for two days. but for some reason we were told that on the second day we would be transferred to another room while we were away a bottle of vodka, beer and many other products disappeared from our refrigerator. to which we were told sorry, we accidentally threw them in the trash

Loved the double shower with jacuzzi! Just awesome!

No a.c. and we had a dog at our window barking every morning 6am sharp.

A bit secluded, but near enough to restaurants, shops, and the lake.

A little bit small. Not much lighting. No A/C. One small trashcan.

A couple staying in the room next to me kept me up all night, the first night of my stay by the woman screaming and yelling up until four in the morning. The next night, I mentioned something about the noise but very politely. Not wanting to cause a problem, I didn’t text my management and didn’t confront the neighbor again. They only kept me up till three in the morning, the second night. everything was perfect on this trip. I took this trip to get away by myself and did not receive one night of sleep. I am let down. And yet I gave you a great rating.

Great place ! We enjoyed our stay here and of course we get back very soon. Clean and friendly service.

My reservation was all set by phone,they gave me the address and it was the wrong location I texted them and they responded with an apology and gave me the right address. When we arrived the lights over the fire place didn’t work the room was dark it needs a little up care, I’d rather see a front desk and talk to someone,will not do another phone reservation again

Cathy’s Cottages was so nice. Yes, it is a bit older and rustic, but that is what you want when you come to Big Bear Lake. Everything was clean in the cottage and it was very peaceful. We loved the memory foam mattress, the fireplace on a timer and the jetted tub. It was a perfect weekend getaway. Also you can park your car right out in the space in front of your unit. Amanda was such a sweetheart checking in on us because we were arriving very late from Las Vegas and she wanted to make sure we got into our cabin alright. Thanks Amanda for the special attention.
