I love everything the hosts at check in was great AMAZING

Breakfast was fair. Lobby, breakfast area clean. Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. Had a snow storm and staff kept access ice free and cleaned off snow.

Did not like our room. 1. Door to the room was not installed properly. At times the latch did not work at all. Then, when I pulled up on the handle to raise that end, the latch worked, but the dead bolt would not work for the remainder of our stay. 2. Water temperature in the shower varied greatly during an individual shower. 3. Adjustment for shower head was not functional. 4. The toilet flush was inconsistent. 5.Room temperature was a constant issue. The instructions on the wall by the thermostat indicated it was the only control and the control buttons did not function. It constantly read a temperature of 85 degrees and the room was hot. Unless, I turned on the air conditioner to bring the temperature to a reasonable comfort. BUT, then I had to turn it off again and the temperature would return to very uncomfortable. 6. Bed pillows were marshmallows. 7. Multiple furniture pieces had drawers that would not stay closed. 8. The mirrored bi-fold closet door operated so poorly that most of the time it was left completely open and never completely shut. 9. The preponderance of the electrical outlets were grouped under the desk in the room and when we went to use them, they would not hold a plug. They appeared very old and worn. Any plug, when inserted immediately "drooped" and fell out.

We stayed here twice this year. 2 nights in April and 2 in Nov. The stay in April was far superior to 2 main reasons. One the sizable hot tub was enjoyable and two, we had a room facing the back of the hotel. On our second stay, we were so disappointed to find the hot tub permanently closed! It’s a good thing I checked before we changed into swimsuits. The bigger problem was the front facing room. For some strange reasons they had a bright light shining up on our window the whole night and since the blinds weren’t black out, it made for very poor quality sleep. For the price, this is a solid stay, especially when you considering the free breakfast. I still give it a 4 stars since the lady at the front desk was super sweet. I tried buying milk but they weren’t selling any so she poured me some from the bar and gave it to me in a cup. I regret not remembering her name but am very thankful regardless!

Clean and convenient hotel behind the Connecticut Post Mall in Milford, Connecticut. Hotel is definitely dated but the price was good and the room and hotel were clean. Breakfast tasted a bit stale. Lobby is small and not a typical setup. First time seeing a bathroom without a sink in it. Also odd they chose to leave the spa abandoned in instead of doing something with it (it was left unlocked). Lastly, the HVAC unit cycles and hums loudly every hour or so.
