Hotel Club Du Lac Tanganyika

Gutes Hotel in traumhafter Lage. Schöner Strand aber nicht für Strandurlaub geeignet. Im See sollte man nicht baden da es Hippos gibt...und das Hotel hält den Strand zwar sehr sauber aber es ginbt absolut KEINE Liegen um ihn zu geniessen. Dies sind nur am wunderschönen Pool, des Aushängeschild des Hotels zu haben. Das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber der Zimmerservice hätte besser sein können. Von einem Hotel dieser Kategorie und Preislage erwarte ich dass es Poolhandtücher gibt und ich nicht nach meinen Handtüchern nachfragen muss....Das Frühstück ist ausreichend entspricht aber eher 3 als 4****

Wahrscheinlich das beste Hotel in Burundi, wenn man dort bleiben muss. Falls nicht tut es ein Tagesausflug nach Bujumbura auch. Das Hotel ist bemüht aber es gibt im Nachbarland sicher mehr Komfort für einen besseren Preis.

Des chambres sympa mais qui mériteraient une rénovation . Un restaurant bon, mais sans plus, niveau brasserie et surtout très cher pour voir qu'on est au Burundi. Du personnel nombreux, poli et prévenant mais très lent pour le service au bar ou au restaurant ( entre le moment ou on s'assoit et et ou le premier plat arrive, il peut s'écouler une heure) Le cadre de l'hôtel en lui même est plutôt agréable ( jardin, piscine, plage) mais l'hôtel se situe à l'extérieur de la ville, ce qui impose de prendre la navette ( gratuite) .

What a breath of fresh air the hotel was. I loved every single second there and I wish I could have been able to stay an extra day or so Communication with the note before my arrival was unbelievable- for every single email sent I receive a reply in less than 5 min ( including at midnight) During my stay, can't say that was anything which I can say a wrong thing. Everything what I requested was provided in no time, the rooms simple but cozy, comfortable and very clean, food great... Have no words to say how well I felt. Also so peaceful - just the sound of the birds and waves, far away from cars and sirens and other normal big city noises If I will ever travel to Bujumbura, I know that there is no way to chose different hotel. I would stay again and again here and I will definitely recommend it to other people

Wat een prima hotel! OK, de badkamer mag een onderhoudsbeurt hebben (maar voldoet overigens prima!). De kamer zelf is eenvoudig maar smaakvol. De service is prima! Een fijn zwembad, maar ook direct toegang tot het strand aan het meer. Maar vooral de ligging is geweldig : heel veel groen, en alles is 'open'. Het lijkt wel een paradijs. Ik kan het iedereen aanraden.

Swimming pool the best of all. the rest a little outdated and too expensive for the price. Service slow.

It was good one and will go back again! I strongly recomend to others. Not a 5 star, but its worth staying!

I think the only reason anybody rates this hotel 4 star is because of the facilities -- olympic size pool, massage, etc., that other hotels don't have. It's close to the lake but so are a lot of other hotels nearby who have much nicer rooms. I would rate the facilities of the hotel as 3 star and the rooms as 2 star. Because of the pool, it's a great hotel for families but next time I'll stay at one of the other hotels/resorts.

Burundi is not a country where one would expect to find a decent hotel. This hotel is expensive for what you get, but it is better to stay here than many other places that are also expensive and dumps. The hotel is well located on the shores of Lake Tanganyka. This is a real plus. The restaurant is good. The pool is a god send on a hot humid day.
