We booked a hotel with full board, but we haven't spent much time there because we've been on day trips. The staff is incredibly pleasant, the hotel is spotless, and the food is great. However, the meal service was quite slow. We waited nearly an hour for a meal.
The place is terrible, poorly mentioned, no pressure in the shower and first day there was no hot shower. The lock on the door was not working. Too many mosquitoes and every evening the house keeping goes around the rooms spraying this terrible mosquito repellent that’s not safe to humans to inhale. I’m the garden area there is a fish pound that is super gross, so green so dirty.
It was a very good place to stay in which is near by the stone town and the airport and in a very good area The staff is very nice and welcoming
The hotel was fine but not good for value of money
My whole stay in Zanzibar was appalling. Airport staff have no respect for tourists or customer relations. Hotel stuff, the same. A few of them were kind and professional. I wouldn't advise anyone to visit.
This was the worst experience since I've been using Hotel.com. I tried to be accommodating to the hotel management but after two days I could not. Couldn't see TV for at lease 4orfive days, always someone is going to adjust the picture. I couldn't take a shower for two days. I could not shower on my final day. The swimming pool was extremely filthy. No sandy beach as shown in the picture. The buildings were not painted all mossy and mildew spores had not been painted in years, The so call fitness Room was lock with a pad lock and had to have security no windows and no airconditioning had to keep door open. Driiver late got soaken wet from the tour. Computer did not work.

We were upgraded to a lovely room by the huge pool, ably managed by Richard, the recreation manager who is an excellent , friendly person. All staff were really nice. It is a short and cheap taxi ride either to Stonetown or the airport and a good place tor relax after your safari. Thanks to GM Rajesh Roy for his kind assistance. After some unpleasant issues with resort to start Mr. Sanyal who was hotel manager tried efforts to fix my accommodations to what i payed for. Property is pretty but needs some upgrades. There is no actual beach to lounge at but beautiful views at least. I believe if they would invest on clearing out and cleaning the area front of the beach area some guest would still swim at high tide. There is no pool bar, which was upsetting because i had to keep going into bar at the lobby to order drinks, which took about 20 minutes to get one drink. The staff are very pleasant but the timing for orders were a bit much for such a big hotel. At some points id go to the bar and order 3 drinks at once with ice on the side just so i wouldn't have to wait 20-30min for drinks. The menu could be worked on a bit. The same things every morning for breakfast was a bit tiresome and only one menu for lunch and dinner. Not much variety. At the restaurant at times i would have to get my own salt and pepper and find ketchup. I do hope they work on these issues because the resort does have a lot of potential.
Insects everywhere even inside the room and I asked the room service to clean the room and nothing was done.
