Lemon Tree Amarante Beach Resort, Goa

The hotel is beautiful and very well located. The beach is a short walk through the property and it has a nice family feel to it throughout. There are ample staff around who are always very cheerful and welcoming and happy to help. We enjoyed the diverse breakfast with Indian cuisine as well as some western dishes and we ate a lovely evening meal at The republic of noodles and several lunches at the Citrus cafe both based on site, which were delicious with good portion sizes. We enjoyed some quiet time around the pool, which was clean and well maintained as well as making use of the spa facilities and the masseuse was experienced and considerate throughout and this was a very pleasurable experience and alleviated some of my aching muscles from travelling. The room was nice and bed comfortable, some issues with the bathroom drainage but it was usable. The decor, artwork plantlife and water features around the hotel were lovely and well kept and gave it a very luxurious feel.

We had a couple of issues with housekeeping when we didnt get toiletries and bathroom essentials replenished and had to ask at reception multiple times. Sometimes communication at front desk was difficult and not always clear explanations and we had to remind several times about booking a taxi to the airport. I wiuld like the front desk staff to be as chatty and helpful as the restaurant staff and then the hotel would be excellent.

I enjoyed my stay at the Lemon Tree hotel Amarante Beach Resort. I enojyed the short walk to the becah, the daily brunch and dinner service, the comfortable room, large pool and nearby shops in proximity to the hotel. I recommend Lemon Tree and would plan to stay at the chain of hotels on my next stay in India.

Hospitality was best. Staff was very kind. Good location. Reach to beach was just 5 mins walk from hotel backside.

AC location in the room could be set as per bed. However this did not upset me as rest all was good.

This hotel is in a very touristy area so with that in mind we had a great stay. On the property it’s a very calm environment. Staff are attentive and always willing to assist. Food was really good in the Citrus Cafe on property.

The location was very good and would definitely stay in Candolim again, lots of food locations around. I got one of the recently renovated rooms (I was told not all rooms have been renovated yet so I would hate to have gotten a non-renovated room) which was very clean and modern.

While the room was excellent, the rest of the hotel was not. The pool area had no swim up bar as advertised (there was an empty hole next the pool where a bar used to be I assume), the area was always dirty (peoples used drinks and rubbish scattered along it, tables and chairs not clean), there was 7 sun lounges for the whole resort and the area smelt gross, I think the filters hadn't been cleaned possibly ever. The area also had no bar/food menu and no towels so to order a drink by the pool or to grab a towel you had to go up to the restaurant and ask. The breakfast also has poor selection and what they did have wasn't very good. After the first day I went to the reception to see if I could get a refund for any of the 5 nights I had booked so I could leave early and go to another resort, they said they "couldn't discuss" as I had booked on booking.com? I then asked for at least a refund on the breakfast so I could go and grab breakfast at a cafe, again they said they "couldn't discuss" and that I had to contact booking.com. I emailed booking.com who replied the same day and told me they had called and asked for a refund on my behalf and were told they couldn't do it but would speak with me about another form of compensation. When I went back to reception the manager was much more helpful and offered my partner and myself each a 30 minute massage and brought the chef over who offered to make us something else for breakfast. While I appreciated them trying and the last two days were an improvement because of this I am still disappointed they wouldn't let us out of the stay early considering the hotel was not as advertised, especially after paying over 20000 rupees per night, I feel overall that they place was a huge rip off and I would not recommend to anyone.

The location is very good and is possible roaming around without take a transport. The property have a way to the beach and an amazing swimming pool. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
