Posting this after a month of my stay (14-16 July 2023, room 103) at the Lemon Tree Amarante in Goa and unfortunately had an extremely disappointing experience. I discovered that a significant amount of money (15k) had been stolen from my wallet in the room by the housekeeping staff during my stay wherein Goa Police and Lemon Tree management help was of no use. Police provided me a wrong FIR copy after 5 days. I had my right to see the proofs but not provided to me at all. It's truly disheartening when you trust a hotel with your belongings and expect them to provide a safe and secure environment. However, the incident I encountered shattered that trust completely. I had left some cash in my room, securely hidden, and was shocked to find it missing upon my return. I reported the incident to the hotel management immediately, hoping for a swift resolution, but sadly, the response was far from satisfactory. The front desk manager MR. KIRAN was hiding behind their desks, security manager MR. SACHIN MURGAO was blaming me and area manager MR. SANDEEP DOUGALE couldn't even care less to meet the guests. Hotel Professionals don't even know to wear their name tags and was hesitating when their names were asked. The hotel staff appeared indifferent to my predicament and showed a lack of concern for the theft that occurred under their watch. They took an inordinate amount of time to address the issue and seemed dismissive of my concerns. I expected a professional and empathetic response from the management, but instead, I was met with negligence and a lack of accountability. Not only did the theft itself ruin my stay, but the subsequent handling of the situation by the hotel management further added to my frustration. As a guest, I believe that my safety and security should be of paramount importance to the hotel. The fact that such an incident could happen in the first place is unacceptable, and the hotel's response only compounded my disappointment.

Waste of money in all ways. Bad room condition. Hopeless service. No intercoms working. Very old and bad state of room furniture. Not even worth 2 star.

Close to the beach.

I don't think it has been maintained since I came last in 2011.There were cockroaches in the room.The food was being delivered to room after 1 hr.Pooe room service.There were no drinks in the pool bar.It was very average and the room price was overrated.
