Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel

The whole room was excellent! Nice and relaxed! And the staff were nice and friendly!

Bathroom was a little dirty but it was alright

Shower was terrible. V poor water pressure, very hard to get the temperature right. Bed was uncomfortable - far too soft and bad for my back.

Excellent central location. Quiet. Excellent breakfast, staff were friendly and polite.

Room was great - view of the Yarra and city from the higher floors. Staff were delightful and while we didn't use it, the gym and pool looked great. Check in and out process was easy and easy to access room service.

Had to ask for a plug for the bath/sink. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment, and while it didn't bother us, the 'door' for the apartment is a sliding mottled glass door, and so if lights are on in the lounge it may not be perfect for some people wanting additional privacy/darkness/quiet.

Location to inner city was great and convenient parking close Good breakfast and bar.

You know need to pay for your room to be cleaned. Every time we went to the pool, no towels. Also, other customers would leave their alcohol bottles down at the pool even though it was prohibited but it wasn't cleaned up for some time. The rooms are also pretty old.
