"Bad value and poor experience"

Hotel feels very run down and breakfast is poor. Pastries undercooked and presentation in hygienic. Staff unhelpful.Rooms very basic and very high price point for a sub standard experience. Out of the way location and bar very noisy at night.

It was suitable for our purposes but the hotel room itself had loose tiles on the floor in the bathroom and the carpet was stained in several areas. The hallway had a stale smell.

"Dinner"

Went out for dinner into the maldron hotel roxboro with my husband and I have to say the food was really really good. Also I would like to mention the gentleman that served us. His name was Noel. He was real chatty and made our visit very welcoming. He went over and above to make sure our visit was worth while. Pity all restaurants don't have people like Noel. Will 100% be back to eat here again...

Noel was an excellent host. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Had a great evening of food and drinks. Told us of some brilliant bars and places to visit and recommended the best tourist places to visit including the Castle and Treaty City Brewery.

"Don't Eat"

Has to be the poorest value in a long time. Ordered the featherblade €24.50 and what came out was a sliver of beef. I've heard of shrinkflation but this is ridiculous. Very hard to find any value on the menu of mostly deep fried food. Seems hotels are racing to the bottom.
