Hotel Conca Park

Conca Park is a fabulous hotel. Based very close to the centre of Sorrento, it has lovely grounds and an excellent pool. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms immaculately clean. The food is also of a very high standard and offers a wide variety, catering for all palates. The desserts and ice creams are to die for. I have been visiting the hotel on a regular basis since 2019 and often return twice a year.

Excellent stay for the second time. Location, Hotel setting, Staff, Food was !st class without being snooty. One of the entrances involved being transported through a tunnel on a golf cart. Never experienced this anywhere else in the world. Very novel and really enjoyed it. Room overlooked the garden and a little bit of the sea great view and very comfortable and clean. Art work around the Hotel was amazing.

The room and the view were AMAZING! It was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. We enjoyed the pool as well.

The room was hot. It was cooler on the deck than indoors during the day. Additionally, our room phone only worked intermittently. The housekeeping staff forgot to restock toiletries and coffee one day of our stay.

I was charged for food and beverages I never ordered. Unfortunately I was in a rush to catch the ferry to Naples and didn’t closely check the final bill.

Rooms were excellent, bathroom very nice. Breakfast was good. Swimming pool area was amazing. Staff were excellent.

Our second visit to this very comfortable relaxing hotel, very clean, and pleasant helpful hard working staff. Beautiful gardens and very close walking proximity to the centre of Sorrento.

On arrival we were quite impressed with this hotel. Beautiful decor, clean comfortable public areas, nice pool with plenty of sun loungers. I have visited Sorrento four times now and have stayed in hotels in different areas of the town in 3* 4* and 5* hotels so know what to expect from Italian ratings. We had booked a room with a balcony but were given a room with a terrace which was adjacent to a rock wall. This area never had any sun at any time of day and was quite dark. It was very basic having a kettle but no tea, coffee etc. We went and bought our own as it did have a small fridge. Housekeeping was dreadful. There were cobwebs on the wall and the skirting boards weren’t just dusty they were dirty. On our last day we closed the glass terrace doors because of rain. Next thing two rats strolled past the window. They could easily have come into the bedroom if left open We did report this to reception. If you are a fussy eater then this is not the place for you. Breakfasts are good with plenty of choice, but the evening buffet is repetitive and never hot. Quality of the food is poor and fresh vegetables are rarely seen. I do not expect tinned or frozen carrots in a 4* hotel. My mother in law was Italian so I do know what good Italian food should look and taste like. All of the staff we spoke to were helpful and pleasant. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the main shopping area and Piazza Tasso, maybe that’s why it is given 4* status. This could easily be a fantastic place if only they improved in the two areas I have mentioned. Needless to say we will not be back or recommend to others.

We had a wonderful stay at Conca Park, a family run hotel with a caring family feel. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly and helpful staff who were always at hand to help. Everything was clean, the rooms were comfortable, the pool area was pristine, the pool temperature perfect. Breakfast buffet was extensive, breakfast outside on the patio under the lemon trees was truly memorable. The evening buffet had a range of choices, something for everyone. Always cooked and presented to a high standard. The table service for drinks was efficient. Staff friendly and helpful. We were given a guided tour of the family garden that grows fruit and vegetables for the hotel, that was fascinating. There is plenty of space to relax, whether it be in the lemon garden, the lounge/bar area or on the terrace surrounding the huge olive tree. The hotel’s location is minutes from the town of Sorrento, which is lively and bustling with an array of shops and restaurants. Shops are open until around 10pm, so an evening stroll in to town is always an option. The location of the hotel meant that it was peaceful and no trouble with noise at all. We travelled with TUI, the price was great, the reps were great, the whole package perfect. We took a few trips with TUI and collection was from the hotel. The hotel was in a good location for days out to Capri, Amalfi Coast and Pompeii or Herculaneum. We would highly recommend this hotel, it was a friend that recommended it to us and we were not disappointed. We hope to return next year.
