Spark by Hilton Savannah Airport

Location- not too big-

Location was great for us and very clean for just our one night stay.

The ice machine on the 3rd floor that we were on was broken which made life a bit difficult when we were so tired. The shower had an on going high pitch sound while taking a shower.

I'd give it a 4.5 stars if I could. Our room was clean and much bigger than most hotels. We had a loveseat, king bed, desk, fridge, big tv, and a nice bathroom. Free breakfast was included with 24-hour coffee available. My only minor issue was I heard someone walking loudly in the room above us. (Ask to stay on top floor maybe?) I'd stay there again.

This location is convenient to the interstate and shopping centers.

The breakfast is very limited on options.

Great location close to the airport with shuttle service. We had never stayed in a Spark before but thought Hilton would have higher standards. It smells like a public pool in the lobby and the front desk person was not very friendly or helpful. The breakfast area looks like a school cafeteria. The room was definitely ok for the price, but we’ll probably not stay in a Spark again.

Wasn't too sure about the Spark brand until I got there. Hotel was clean, neat & up to date. Unlike the doubletree that I stayed in the night b4. My only complaint is that the digital key system wasn't working. Other than that, no complaints

Terrible experience, nasty facilities, rude customer service. Room was hot, smelly, door knob hanging in bathroom, rust around few tub faucet

Don’t rely on their shuttle service. We were coming from Savannah International and called the hotel directly for a shuttle pick up. The front desk attendant on duty told me that the wait would be 20-25 minutes. Seemed a bit long since the trip is only about five minutes, but I waited. I waited for 25 minutes and then called again since no van showed up. The clerk mentioned something about Delta, which I did not understand. He said maybe it’s delayed due to the rain. I waited another 15 minutes, now total of 40 minutes. (Waiting outside in the cold and rain is not fun.) Then I called the hotel a third time. The clerk said the shuttle must be delayed due to Delta. When I asked him what that meant, he said that they share the shuttle service with Delta Airlines and it must be delayed because of them and they have priority. Then he said in an arrogant tone that I should just take an Uber since it’s only a minute away. Rather than waiting longer for a shuttle that may never show up, we took the Uber for $14. My issue was more the principal than even the cost. I wasted 40 minutes waiting outside in the cold while I could’ve taken the Uber in the first place. The clerk was not empathetic and did not apologize for the shuttle’s not showing up. I understand delays happen and things are beyond people’s control. It is more making me wait so long and finally basically saying to “stop bothering me and take an Uber. It’s close. What’s the big deal?” Funny thing is, when I complained, the manager called me back quickly and told me she would credit my Hilton Honors account with points. Well, three days later and still no points. Without this incident, I would’ve rated the hotel 5 stars since it was very clean - recently remodeled and exceeding my expectations- and convenient to the airport. The check-in desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating.
