Royal Inn Motel

You will not get non-smoking room (and they wont tell you that when reserving room) and you will find that out when you reach there. We had a terrible experience. The only good thing they did was probably changed sheets They don't have no ice machine, the vending machine doesnt work. The hotel rooms probably never renewed its probably 10-15 years old (i believe).

If you value Hygiene- DO NOT STAY HERE! An absolute dump! The was a half-smoked cigarette on the bed when first walked through the door, some disgusting crusty shmootz all over the floor, BUGS ON AND IN THE BED! a used Q-tip on the floor. It was revolting! We checked immediately AND got a refund!

We have stayed at this motel multiple times. We were most dissatisfied this visit. Positives, mini fridge and microwave. Negatives. The walls were dirty, the head board had mystery goo, big burn on the rug. No hot water and the water pressure would bring your skin off. Plus there were shady deals going on in the parking lot from the room beside us. We were informed this morning by another guest that there was an armed robbery in June (11th 2015 to be exact) sadly we will not be staying here again.

The protective glass over the checkin counter is a warning this is not a good place. As were the people loitering outside units, watching. The room was old but reasonably clean. Two of the four lamps were broken. Wifi didn't work. There was no toilet paper - as in no roll at all. Called reception but the phone was broken. Fixed it but reception didn't answer. Next day, still none, so went to reception and they gave me a half roll. Thanks. Got back at 8 PM on the final day to find the door wide open and the maintenance man installing a new sink, he'd been there all day. He acted surprised that I should object to the room being open and not available to me. On the bright side the 1980s tube tv worked and I don't think anything was actually stolen.

The service was great the woman who was in the office was very personable. The room was quite large for the price. The sheets were obviously cleaned recently, the wifi was speedy and the TV had some of my favorite channels. Best of all the room was and clean. Only downside was the very small shower, but other than that I give it 5/5!

The room was nasty and the beds were hard and the shower was full of balck mold and the ac filter was broke were u could not get the filter out to clean it .When you talk to the people about the room thay tell you that the place is privately owned thats ok but thay should take better care of ther motel guest that stay ther.The lady that the front desk was a butt thats all I have to say about that. !!!!!!! Do not stay is this motel trust me you will not like stay ther

This place was ok.. Very dated! Staff was friendly, price was great!, It was close to restaurants and gas stations. We would stay there again, The price was good! It was quiet, It served its purpose for an over night stay!

Excellent value and Missy, the owner/manager, is awesome! Stayed for 2 nights to go skiing at Wintergreen. It was $55/night, the room was clean and staff was friendly. What more can you ask for? Will stay here again next time I'm in the area.

Excellent value for a one night stay. Traditional period decor which we love. Sadly, drains are a bit sluggish, otherwise my rating would be four stars. Good Mexican restaurant next door recommended by owners.
