Moonfleet Manor

Lovely hotel with beautiful view and facilities for kids. Lovely breakfast.

Although only staying for just one night, the staff were wonderfully welcoming and helpful and it was a pleasure to stay at Moonfleet Manor. The parking there is very good, no need for permits like so many resort based hotels in the area. The room and facilities were excellent, breakfast was various and bountiful and the staff were very nice. The location guarantees that you will actually get a restful stay and a good nights sleep. Definitely deserving of a return visit.

We really enjoyed the quiet location and wonderful local walks.

Great location, lovely Geogian hotel, excellent swimming pool albeit can get busy in the morning,breakfirst was really excellent and room very comfortable.Meals very good but quite expensive.Overall we had an excellent stay and I will return one day.

The hotel is located at the tip of land and has access through a narrow road from the main road. It gives you a very different experience. If you are looking to relax in serene surroundings, at a place with beautiful views, this is the place for you. The hotel has an old colonial heritage feel, so people into that kind of taste will love it. Lot of families were staying during the time of our stay, so the atmosphere felt very nice. Staff is extremely polite, friendly and helpful. All toiletries, drinking water etc were of exquisite brands. Breakfast was good. The only negative was that the rooms don’t have air conditioners and fly screen doors. So they supply table fans. You can’t open the balcony door due to insects and mosquitoes. So on a warm night you could have trouble getting to sleep. It cooled down over night though.

This is a very good hotel located near Weymouth with beautiful surroundings. Staff are all very nice and helpful and restaurant food is very good. Expensive bar and restaurant menu but don’t mind paying for good food. Disappointing bits was the size of the room and the bathroom is very very small and spa and pool facilities not great for adults. We loved free 2 hours crèche each day

Everyone at the hotel was really friendly including there dog Snoppy. Snoppy and my dog Lottie had a wonderful time together, Snoppy would join us for our morning and evening walks. Great for Lottie to have a friend for her adventures.

Lovely setting, with views of the sea and the Fleet. The staff are great and some remembered us from our last stay. One slight disappointment is that the bathroom floor wasn't as clean as it could have been - the area behind the door had been missed and had others' hairs on it. There was also a problem with the shower, which we told the staff about so hopefully will be fixed by now. Although we didn't have children, there were a number of families there who all seemed to be well catered for.

Lovely stay, defiantly come again with the grandchildren. Beautiful location. Staff where excellent. Hotel had it all.
