Chan-Kah has the feel of being in the jungle. The trees and shrubs are beautiful. The pool is clean and ample and the place is quiet and peaceful until the monkeys start to scream. That is exciting as well.

I loved that the hotel was in the jungle. I heard howler monkeys from my room and could appreciate the jungle from the lovely pool. It was also very private.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Food was good serving staff excellent. Check in and out fast. Close to Palenque ruins. We drove in from last nubes so it had all the creature comforts we were looking for.

"Great for access to the Palenque Ruins"

We stayed at Chan-Kah in the off-season, end of August, with hardly anyone else there. The room was an individual cabana, with nice beds, great A/C (needed as it was 36 - 37C outside and humid). Staff spoke essentially no English, but we got along ok. The pool was warm, too warm for laps, but nice for a soak. We heard the monkeys that others spoke about, but didn't see any. The location, proximity to the Palenque Ruins, was great. Also not too far to town. But, you need a car, really, to get around conveniently.

"Amazing swimming pool "

It was a resort stay for the price of a hotel. Very nice villa with a local decor. The swimming pool needs to be experienced at night. One of the nicest pools I have been to. Very close to the Palenque Ruins

The hotel is beautiful! The atmosphere is the perfect setting for a relaxing stay. However, the front desk staff as well as waiters, and spa crew were unfriendly and rude.
