Moorings Hotel

Nice hotel but needs freshening up,bedroom was very clean with a nice view and was cleaned daily with fresh towels,evening food was good but quite expensive,continental breakfast was basic but was adequate as it was included in the price,nice bar area but was told they had no darts and the pool table was broke,unfortunately no beach area and also the government as banned swimming all along the coast as polluted grrr,probs a 15 min walk into Port Villa where food was slightly cheaper and worth a visit as many to choose from and shops to browse.

Very good reasonable hotel with fine bar and restaurant

Only stayed one night while passing through. Very clean and we had an amazing view.

The view from our room was excellent. Property a little dated but the service from staff our weighed this Meals in the Restaurant excellent as was the service Excellent value for money wouldn’t hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone.

Clean and tidy staff very friendly food was good and cheap

We are very disappointed we did not get to stay at the Moorings even though this is the place I booked. This is the note I got from Anita that works at the Moorings below. We kindly informed that due to an error that has occurred and affected our online inventory , we will take care of your booking but at our bigger sister property ,the Melanesian Port Vila. Anita did gives us a dinner voucher for the Moorings and we had an amazing meal. We looked around the property of the Moorings and asked staff about both of the properties and everyone agreed that the Moorings is much nicer then the Melanesian. At the Melanesian our rooms were not near each other or on the same floor very, very disappointed.

Moorings did not have a the reservation that i made through travelocity. I was double charged.

Lovely outdoor areas and spaces. Choice of many different areas to dine or have a drink.

very very small rooms, would have been difficult to get two adults in comfortably.rooms overlook pool area so people can walk by anytime of day or night so was a bit noisy . breakfast very ordinary and hotel is away from town .
