The Slate

The Slate was always my top choice in Phuket as researched where to stay. It was amazing, close to the airport, clean and beautiful property overall. Definitely will refer and stay here again

We stayed at the Slate towards the end of our trip to be close to the airport for an early flight. It was very easy to get to the airport but also a stunning hotel with beautiful calm pools and some amazing restaurants. It was really easy also to walk down to the beach to go to local restaurants and shops. Overall a fantastic stay thank you!

The rooms were not very clean and the towels smelled musty

This is the most perfect hotel! The staff was so amazing from the moment I walked in. The place is gorgeous the food is phenomenal. The room service is to die for literally. I had the room with a pool which was heaven I almost didn’t want to leave the property. Street food and beach right outside the resort. I went solo as a woman and felt so safe I was out till 2am. The resort is so very safe. It’s close to so much stuff a the staff will help you plan things I don’t book anything until I got to the hotel they had much better deals. They can also convert your cash for you to Baht at the hotel. I’m going back in a couple of months because the staff alone made this stay so perfect!

Beautiful, huge property in charming Nai Yang. We stayed in the D Buk Family suite which was perfect for our 16 year old who had a large curtained bed, making it feel like she had her own space. For some reason there is a full length mirror in on the door of the toilet so you have to see yourself sitting there. The large tub is nice in theory, but there isn’t really any hot water so it is only for those who like cold baths.

I loved my stay at Slate , beautiful resort a little dated however still beautiful. I enjoyed the staff and how friendly and helpful they were. The only downside is the location I was far from main attractions so I used bolt a lot to get to places . 45 mins away from everything . Food was good especially at Black Ginger restaurant. Spa was also very nice 60 minute massage was lovely . I would definitely stay again. The overall resort is beautiful and the staff they aim to please and make sure you're happy .

Close proximity to the airport But there is a weird taste of the tap water and bottled water provided by the hotel

Comfort and quiet room, convenience location, excellent service, especially Noey from front desk and Looknam from gym centre! I had lovely experience in the Muay thai class that I would like to thank my tutor a lot! Hope to be back soon :)
