Comfort Inn & Suites Chipley

The hotel needs a lot of maintenance, the smell of humidity in the rooms is extreme, everything is old and dirty. Staff during the night was rude and not willing to help.

The hotel accommodations were nice and the rooms were nice. A bug crawled onto my bed but I don't know what kind it was. It might behoove you to call an exterminator but there was only one incident. Otherwise, I had a great stay.

Front desk people were very unfriendly. Made you feel uncomfortable.

Well....the room was clean but I had to use the air dryer in the bag and there was lotion all over it from a previous guest. The hotel itself was in a need of an update. The outlet plug in the hallway look like it might have caught on fire and was out. The breakfast was a little concerning. Apple juice, I think, was just water. They hotel was overly scented but I think that was just cover up the musty smell. Overall, the room and bed was clean but the hotel itself needs some tlc.

The pool was nice. The motel breakfast was very good. The sheets and towels were very nice. But.... the mattress was the hardest mattress I have ever tried to sleep on and was higher at the foot of the bed than at the head of the bed with a dip in the middle of the bed. My back and both hips hurt after trying to sleep on it. The top of the mattress including the base was at least 30 inches or more from the floor. I am 5 feet 4 inches tall; it was a struggle for me to even get up on the bed. Also, my feet were dirty on the bottoms from walking around bare footed in the room. I would not choose to stay here again if at all possible.

We had three bugs in our room my husband told lady at desk when checking out he took picture of bug she said was cockridge! We were not very happy ! Place needs some updating !
