The Courtland Hotel & Spa

Breakfast was very good and adequate to meet my expectations and needs. Coffee was very good.

I have no suggestions.

The owners are great. The room was very, very clean. I could walk to dinner. The room was small, in comparison to a hotel chain room, but I had enough room And I definitely preferred the charm of the hotel. I will definitely stay there again!

Very welcoming, quaint. Different from a run of the mill hotel stay. The hospitality was superb!

Frank at the front desk was great! He was very friendly and made sure that we had everything that we needed for our stay.

Older 1900s hotel. It was clean and fun to stay at. In a great location. Fort Scott is a pretty town with lots of history. The Courtland Hotel and day spa had character, it was unique. The best part is talking to the owner and learning the history of the town.

It’s history. The innkeepers were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nice and cool and we slept well.

Just be prepared for stairs since all rooms are on 2nd floor.

This is our third time staying here. It’s always a pleasant experience. Quiet, convenient location, with places to eat within walking distance. Frank, the owner, is very welcoming.

Bare bones without amenities. Old facility, clean but worn. No complimentary breakfast, but clearly has large area to facilitate one. No pool or hot tub. Minimal staff. Good price and very adequate for ‘sleep and go’ people. Good sized room, good beds, refrigerator & microwave. It’s hay day long past, but we saved $$.
