I loved this hotel ! The history and furnishings were beautiful and the owners were very helpful. great location too right downtown. Very good breakfast as well, Really wished we had more than one night! Thanks Frank fir all your help👍 Kathleen and Maureen (Boston)

The location in the old downtown was great, allowing walking around on the old brick streets and getting to restaurants and saloons without needing to drive. The old 1906 building is funky and the stairway up to the rooms is long, but this elderly couple had no trouble getting suitcases and backpacks up. The room and bathroom were small, but the bed was comfortable and we slept well. For us better than a generic new place at the edge of town in an area without charm or sidewalks.

The owner was very sweet and made sure we were comfortably established in our room. Very neat place to stay and learn a little bit of history while there!

The communal areas were a little warm

Fair breakfast. Good location. Quaint, good value for the money.

Booking.com charged me twice for the same reservation. They will not refund my money.

The room and stay were very pleasant. Being charged twice by booking.com for the room was not pleasant. Trying to get a refund has been worse than pulling teeth.
