La Selva Hotel

Great price, but a bit secluded. Room could have used an upgrade a few years ago, but overall, it was worth the price.

Very nice hotel ..staff are wonderful. The room was very clean ..lovely breakfast . Its a 20 min drive to batberino outlet... Will return again...

Avevamo già soggiornato 3 anni fa esatti, per Halloween. L'albergo è in ottima posizione per raggiungere Firenze (si giunge con l'auto alla stazione Fs di Rifredi e si parcheggia gratuitamente). Purtroppo non ci siamo goduti affatto, sempre in giro, l'ambientazione immersa nel verde delle colline, ma pare proprio il luogo ideale per qualche giorno di relax. In base alle passate esperienze posso dire che le camere sono tra loro piuttosto diverse. Ci sono quelle molto curate (ad esempio quelle col balconcino) ed altre meno; stavolta siamo capitati in quella 'meno'; se in questa occasione tale aspetto non era essenziale , col prezzo pagato per un week-end 'clou' non si poteva pretendere di più. Nel complesso l'hotel sembra aver perso " un po' " in questi 3 anni; la colazione - sempre ottima e con dolci freschissimi - è meno ricca ed alcuni dettagli si sono persi (si percepisce un maggior disordine generale). Sempre presente però la piccola biblioteca al 1° piano. Ottimo il ristorante, con prezzi tutto-sommato abbordabili e che, se vuoi, è in grado di sorprenderti. Lo chef Piero ci sa sempre fare! La formula è più simile ad un 'ristorante con camere' (e che 'ristorante'!) che non a un 'hotel con ristorante'; il che vuol dire che, se si arriva negli orari dei pasti, bisogna rivolgersi al ristorante (il cui ingresso è al piano sottostante) e non alla reception. Complessivamente un 7/10.

Good mountain hotel, and easy to go city if you have a car. There is no refrigerator in the room. Room size is good for 3 beds.

Los desañunos han sido muy agradables con vistas a la montaña. Mucha tranquilidad,pero esta lejos de las ciudades.

Not far from the highway but it is not easy to reach for the first time specially by night.

Bom custo beneficio. Só vale a pena se você estiver de carro, fica muito longe de Florença e da própria cidade, Calenzano

El hotel está reformado y limpio. Está en una zona tranquila y apartada. El desayuno estaba muy bien. Buena relación calidad-precio.

We spend four nights in this hotel, it has a convenient location that can help you to visit some towns around. For instance you can go to Florence, first reaching the train station by car, and after taking a train to avoid expensive parking fares in Florence (1,50€ single trip and 15minutes). Also consider that Florence has a limited traffic zone, so if you decide to go by car take care of this observation. The staff is very nice people and very helpful. The hotel is nice, clean, with Free WiFi and parking. Also it has a fantastic views, so you can enjoy them on the terrace and you really feel like being in the forest.

Cadre et locaux agréables, bon petit-déjeuner, mais cloisons très fines et compliqué de bien dormir en présence de voisins bruyants.
