La Selva Hotel

We stayed at La Selva Hotel two nights and we liked it a lot. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, the hotel was very well located (8kms to Calenzano) and it was surrounded by trees which make us feel close to nature.

Firenzen reisulla sopivan matkan päässä hinta-laatushteeltaan ok hotelli. Aamula ihan hyvä tähän hintaan. Siisti huone ja hotelli. Palvelu ystävällistä.

This place is an absolute delight and we used it because we took the non toll route from Bologna to Rome which is an exceptional drive. The staff are very friendly and the room is clean and comfortable and has a balcony with an awesome view. The food in the restaurant downstairs is excellent and a pretty typical Italian atmosphere.

We were in this place in july. It was a very nice stay . The staff is friendly and very helpfull. The room was clean and nice, with balcony. we had a good and delicious breakfast every morning with fresh fruits, good organic products and great capuccino :) The hotel is located in a green area and relaxing place, but not far from the city. It was so pleasent every evening to go back to the hotel, having a bear on the hotel terace. Also we had the dinner at the resturant. A very good and great restaurant, with tuscany menu and also good pizza. Thank you all the staff for your kindness and professionality. We will come back.... hope soon.

Trotz spätem Check-In (23 Uhr) konnten wir im Restaurant (im selben Gebäude) nocht eine Kleinigikeit zu Essen bekommen. Das Hotel ist unfern einer Autobahnausfahrt aber dennoch im Wald gelegen und deshalb schön ruhig. Das Frühstück ist typisch für italienisches Frühstück - geringe Vielfalt - aber ausreichend, um gesättigt den Tag zu starten. Wir haben das oben erwähnte Restaurant am letzten Abend nochmal besucht - das Essen ist wirklich gut und zu empfehlen.

The motel was lovely with nice, clean rooms and a beautiful view. Some signs well before the entrance would be helpful though. The internet was a bit tricky - had to go down the stairs to connect. The restaurant was disappointing but breakfast was good.

Doveva solamente essere una tappa di passaggio del nostro viaggio ed invece si è rivelato un bel soggiorno immersi nel verde. Piacevolmente sorpresi dall'hotel.

Nous nous sommes arrêtés dans cet hôtel pour faire une étape durant notre voyage et ce fut parfait, nous avons pu nous restaurer au restaurant et nous avons passé une nuit réparatrice dans de confortables lits. Très bon rapport qualité/prix, certes l'hôtel est un peu vieillot mais tout y est, personnel agréable et petit déjeuner copieux. Je recommande sans hésitation pour une nuit.

Rooms are simples but really nice for the price, the staff is kind and gentle and the restaurant is just perfect, cheap and better than most in florence :) try pasta Pesto or arabatia, delicious ! 30 mins from florence, the road is quite easy. They didnt charge coffees we took too, i recommend this place !

Easy and convenient stay over. Relatively quiet with good access to highway. Good breakfast.
