Location.

Property was under construction. Original room we booked was not available. We received a phone call few hours prior our arrival. They gave us best of what they had to offer, but did not charge us dog fee. We were expecting to be happy with it. I wish we had better communication prior the day of our arrival.

Amazing boutique property. Nice staff members who helped with a quick check in and check out. The rooms were newly renovated with modern amenities. AC and Microwave in the room worked very well. Lot of dining options nearby at a walkable distance. Ample parking in front of the rooms. We had a very comfortable stay.

The newly-renovated Marlo was a pleasant surprise for our three day getaway to Solvang. The rooms in the back are already renovated and far exceed the usual standard we'd expect for the reasonable rates we received. The redone patio area outside is perfect for gatherings (we had six friends over for some extra wine tasting) and the location is super convenient. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Marlo despite the renovations. Staff was welcoming and prompt to respond to any request. Appreciated the texting feature. Our room was so comfortable, we booked one with a little kitchenette. The bed was incredible and I slept very well.

Would have appreciated a few things in the kitchen such as a sponge and dish soap. Wine glasses and a bottle opener. Location for the ice machine (there was an ice bucket provided). But these were minor.
