The Sebel Twin Waters

Good location and spacious apartment. Beautiful view of the lake. Comfortable beds, big spacious bathrooms with baths in both. Air cons in both rooms and living room was amazing and much needed! Very walkable around the lake and 5 min walk to the Novotel. Kangaroos throughout the property were lovely to see on our walks. Staff were amazing over the phone. The pool was 10 steps away from our apartment - very convenient!

No food/coffee nearby - have to walk over to the Novotel. No coffee machine and not enough coffee provided for the 4 days we were there. Parking is average - very limited and the overflow parking is a 10 min walk away. The pool near our room was closed for 2 days for maintenance. No cleaning supplies - not enough bin bags. Made it difficult to keep apartment clean for 4 days. Dishwasher was average! Freezer was way too cold.

The roof leaked in 2 places when it rained, the oven is so old you don't know what settings anything is on, one door was unable to be locked.

Location was the reason for selecting Sebel Twin Waters. We have stayed a few times before and enjoy the surrounds - beach nearby, Novotel facilities and the lagoon.

Access to Novotel facilities no longer includes their pool, which we hadn't been notified about prior. Minimal staff at Sebel meant that promises of delivering towels didn't eventuate. The property we were given did not match the property illustrated (which we had stayed at previously and so knew it had easy access) and only had one bath rather than the two promised, and a heap of stairs that were also not mentioned. Kitchen did not seem equipped for catering for 5 people for a week. Only one bedside lamp in the master bedroom which was odd.

This is like a second home for us. Great for the kids, with all the facilities and activities. The unit we stayed in was clean and well presented. We were lucky to get a nice person at the Novotel to allow us use of the pool for the week there for a smaller than usual fee.

Bin room left a bad smell through the place though, particularly near the lift.

Perfect little get away. To able to walk straight out from your room to the lagoon was great. Having the beach just 5 minutes walk away was also great. High light was snorkelling in the lagoon. The fish in there are huge! Having everything you need at walking distance makes the stay that much better.
