Location 2nd time stopping - breakfast

The light from the top of the outside canopy glaring into our bedroom and lighting it up like Blackpool illuminations! Pubic hair on the shower wash bottle, shower wash empty. Interconnected room, next door woke us up at 6.30am using the hair dryer right next to the door! No consideration

It was local to where we were attending.

It is extremely dated, the bathroom fittings are rusting with signs of corrosion, the room smelt extremely strongly of curry all the time which made me feel sick. When I checked in, room 223 was on our check in slip but the attendant scribbled this out and wrote G01 - no explanation as to why we have been moved. We went to the room to be hit with the curry smell. I went back to the reception to request a room change to be told there were no rooms left. I asked for some air freshener instead which dampened the smell slightly but not a great deal. I would not book again.

Very convenient location, the staff were so friendly and they could not do enough for us. It was a lovely hotel and very clean. The room was spacious and beds comfortable. The food in the restaurant was lovely, tasted like authentic Indian food. And the breakfast was great value for money also. I will definitely stay again

The only negative was that it could do with a bit of an update or a bit of TLC. The decor in places seemed a little old fashioned and in need of a little spruce up. E.g. Bath panel was wooden and had clearly got a bit wet and swollen slightly. But this is really picky, as the rooms were extremely clean and spacious
