"Best vacation"

10.0

The staff women were very friendly. The place was very accommodating and had snacks and breakfast in the common area. Along with complimentary coffee and tea available day and night. There were also cards, board games and puzzles you could bring to your room. My wife and I loved it all. Our only gripe was the small community fridge. A larger fridge or a mini one in the room I think would be better for guests. But that's really not a big issue.

"Family staycation to mix it up!"

Such an amazing place and location. We had such a fun time having a staycation in our own town, beautifully designed accommodations, comfortable bed, close to it all! Would highly recommend.

"Blind Tiger Asheville is the best place to stay in Asheville by far."

10.0

Blind Tiger Asheville is the best place to stay in Asheville by far. Tucked into a quiet, leafy neighborhood just minutes from downtown, it feels more like staying at your stylish friend’s home than a hotel. Every detail is thoughtfully designed, from the curated vinyl playing in the background to the open pantry stocked with local treats. It's effortlessly cool, incredibly comfortable, and the kind of place that makes you want to linger just a little longer.

We had a great time at the Blind Tiger! Our room was comfy and well appointed, and the decoration and overall vibe of the place were unique and great. We would have loved for the jets in the tub to be actually working, however we realize the description of the room does say soaking tub. But that was a minor thing, highly recommended and will stay here again.

"Only just ok"

4.0

The marketing blurb in no way matches the actual experience. Checking in was all done via email, and no one seemed to actually run the place. Our room was perfectly clean and the bed was very comfortable but the room was musty and dark. The grounds surrounding the property were poorly maintained and we had a very sad green plastic chair sitting at the entrance to our room. Wifi was non existent in our room and breakfast was pitiful. A saving grace was its location to a good neighbourhood restaurant and breakfast place. I question whether this place should position itself as upmarket and as others have suggested, just be an Airbnb.

"Basically an Airbnb for double the cost $$$"

4.0

The hotel website says the hotel is "more than an elevated bed and breakfast" yet no breakfast ... or at least I'm sure all guests wouldn't consider packaged oatmeal and a bowl of oranges as an elevated breakfast experience and guests aren't told that the hotel is run without onsite staff or any breakfast until they arrive. There's no staff onsite for check-in and everyone was confused. I had to help my parents find their room and then my parents helped another guest. They send you a text with the code to the door - just like an airbnb. I was confused myself but ran into a friendly housekeeper who was able to help. The pantry is a nice perk but there's no local produced or homemade snacks, as marketed WiFi worked in the main house but not in the building where my room was. The rooms were clean and you can tell a lot of thought and care was put into the furnishing and decor, which was lovely! I just think everything else was misleading and the guests should be aware in advance of booking. Lovely hotel but you can get the same service and amenities at an airbnb for half of the cost. Thanks!
