Bad sehr klein,

This is my second time staying and it is consistently high quality. The lounge is comfortable for a cafe or beer or plotting the next day’s adventure. The breakfast is substantial. The room is clean, cozy, and has a functional layout. It is the staff who are the superstars! Superb communication, assistance with all things travel related, and simply delightful to chat with.

Litet rum, trist med så litet badrum att allt blev blött när man duschade. Frukosten var så där. Fanns inget större urval, främst när det gällde pålägg. Inga varma alternativ (utom pannkakor).

Very nice 3-star hotel conveniently located close to downtown Reykjavik and the BSI terminal. Both can be reached within a 15-minute walk. The hotel is situated directly opposite one of the city's most recognizable landmarks, Hallgrímskirkja, which is visible from almost anywhere in Reykjavik, making it nearly impossible to get lost :) Grocery stores (I mostly used Bónus at Laugavegur 59), cafés and restaurants, souvenir shops are all within easy walking distance of the hotel. The hotel itself is quite small and consists of two buildings: the main building and the west building, located just across the street from each other. The rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. The rooms are fairly small, but it was perfectly fine for me since I spent most of my time outside.

It was a bit noisy due to ongoing renovation work at the hotel, but this is only a temporary issue. My room was also on the second floor facing a busy street, so overall it was still quite noisy, even late at night. While the breakfast was good, I found the selection somewhat limited. For example, there was no porridge, omelette options, or sausages available.

Coffee machine provided. Also free coffee etc. available at all times in the main building which was across the street. Excellent location

Fabulous location right opposite the famous Hallgrimskirkja, and the bed itself was extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a great selection to choose from and the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful.

My room was very small and there wasn't anywhere to sit other than on the bed. The bathroom windows didn't have curtains, and the glass frosting didn't go all the way up to the edge so I had to hang a towel on the ledges to ensure maximum privacy. Breakfast isn't served until 7am, but if you're leaving earlier on your last day to catch a plane they'll make you up a breakfast bag... unfortunately that's just a ham/cheese sandwich and a capri-sun, which is very different to the excellent buffet spread you get in the actual hotel.
